canada.aspirant2013, do you have "decision made" in your ecas status?

Yes alexalex, I have it. It was added on 26th November (Got PPR on 22nd, sent on 25th, received on 26th). What about yourself? When did you send you passport?Have you got it back ? :)

Hello all,

Today, my status changed to " In process" and the Ecase 3rd line to:
"Your application was reviewed and we started processing on December 6, 2013."
I did my medical exam on Nov 25 and was waiting for the Ecase to show "Medical received", but instead my status changed to "In process" today.
Any idea how long it would take to get PPR?

Thanks

Any update is good news. Hopefully, PPR should be arriving soon in your mail box

Hi shinbukan

You will get ur PPR within one or two days, and decision made within one week of time, this is my personal experience.

Thanks

CanadaStar,
I did my Medicals on November 15, 2013, my ecase has only two line and I have been "In process" for almost two years! Although it was an emedical exam, CIC has not indicated its receipt. I'm not sure where I fit in the timeline and don't know what else to do except to wait.

I would not rely much on the Ecas status update. It does not necessarily reflect the actual status of your application. Go for GCMS notes instead.
The time to get PPR after medical varies. Within this time security check are carried on. For 80% of cases I know, it happens fast (within 1-3 months).
The duration for security checking is really uncertain, depends on many factors, including but not limited to 'country of origin', 'country visited', 'Applicant's name' etc.

I think your PPR will be coming to your inbox pretty soon (In early January, if not before the chrismas :) ). Good luck. :)

Thank you very much for the info.

The passports should have all the required biographical data that you need to make a copy of (certify/notarize it if possible) and mail or email them.

Dear All,

Received the ppr yesterday. I have updated my timeline on the left.

Thanks !

Dear all,
I got medicals with rPRF request on 14th October 2013.

And within that email there was below mentioned line;

"With the exception of Police Certificates, please submit all requested documents electronically, as attachments in your reply to this email. All requested documents must be accompanied by the outgoing correspondence we have sent to you (i.e. this e-mail or a printed copy of this letter). "

Does it mean if I have to also submit my PCC??

Thanks in adv

That is a standard line they send to everyone. If they have not specifically requested for PCC, you don't need to submit one. I submitted one though (without them asking for it) because I had lived outside Canada for 6+ months after applying for PR and didn't want them to ask in future which will further delay an already prolonged process.
