hey Aspirant,
is your also transferred to Mexico?
My file is in Mexico. Did my Medicals in July and they received Medicals and additional forms on 09 August 2013.
then they asked for RCMP Finger Prints and they received it back on October 24. After that no reply.

Did they asked you anything after that?
Hi akamboj,

No, my application is with Ottawa-cic and currently, my passport is with Ottawa-cic.
Don't worry, you are going to have your PPR very soon.

Hi All -

When sending documents for PR application - do they have to be certified copies or copies only?

Thanks,

It is advisable to have them certified except for school transcripts and PCC that need to be original; at least that is what i did through the advice of my lawyer.

Lets keep praying and hoping. For some, it is so fast, for others really slow. As they say, each case is different so we can only keep praying and hoping we hear good news soon. We've waited for so long already it can't get worse, it will only get better. The good news will come soon. :)

All well?

Thank you alwayspositive.....We have informed CIC about the same and we are awaiting a reply...Is it okay if we send forms like IMM5669 now (via e-mail) and then send the FBI certificates later or is it better to send all at once?...

First of all congratulations for expecting a new bundle of joy soon.

It is sometimes considered unsafe for a pregnant woman to undergo x'ray so it is safer to do the other tests and wait until after she delivers to do the x'ray. You can inform CIC about your wife's condition.
Regarding the FBI certificate, check current timelines and inform CIC if you think it will go beyond the 60 days. Others on the forum have done this and I think CIC understands that it is not possible in certain cases to get the information requested within the stipulated time.

Cheers.

Sarat,
Send the other documents to CIC since the FBI certificates often delays. Let them know you will submit the FBI cert as soon as you receive it. Considering the x'ray, I agree with one of the contributors here (name has escaped me) that you should consult your GP. Certain kinds of x'ray are considered safe even for pregnant women. Since with a chest x'ray the rays do not get to the abdominal area, it may be safe. Find out from your GP to avoid further unnecessary delays.

it seems that Ottawa is not working anymore, I guess non of us will hear something from them before the mid Jan. This is new year and many people are going for vacations... :(

It is December the 5th :) I believe Christmas holidays and days off starts in 20th and taking in consideration that Ottawa was working Sundays lately I am pretty sure they are working. :)

no, I did not read it somewhere, but look at the updates of people in this forum, the last update was Oct 22, someone get a PPR, after that almost nothing happened, and it is the same for other organizations, new year is coming, many people re leaving to join their families or start their vacations.

Although things may look quiet but I believe that they are working and they work in the festive season. A friend of mine got PPR on Dec 31st last year. Let's remain positive. Hopefully, they too will understand that some of us that are nearing becoming permanent residents are really eager to get the PR status before 2014.

sarat104 got updated documents request this Monday, I got request for photos this Monday (Dec 2nd), I guess lots of people who are reading this forum are not adding many of their updates.

bahar855, many 2010 are still waiting for their PR, so your timeframe is not that bad. Also, check with CIC to make sure they got your medical results and all the requested documents. If yes, then maybe there is still criminality or other checks are going on in your file.

You are not alone Bahar, my timeline is exactly like yours, except that I am a 2010 applicant. I think it may have something to do with our security checks and country of origin.

But don't worry, we are very close.
