Hi Everyone,

I applied for the FSW Program under the QSW track in May 2013. I am in the US on H1b Visa.
Got AOR and Medical Request in Aug 2013 and e-medical were submitted Aug 29, 2013.
Since then no update on my E-Case status.
I also noticed that my Ecas only has 2 lines as opposed to 3 lines for most applicants at this stage.
I am trying to understand where my application stands in the process.
Any idea when I might expect the passport request? I am seriously getting worried.
Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Good luck everyone!

E-Cas Timeline:
1 We received your application for permanent residence on June 12, 2013.
2 Medical results have been received-updated Sep 4, 2013. (Submitted Aug 29 by doctor's office- confirmation provided).

Thank you for your answer because we haven't got PCC, though got docs update and medical
request.

Don't worry. They didn't even ask me to update forms, and my status is decision made. ;D

JJ-C,
Your time line and mine are close. CIC requested for Medical on Oct. 31, and just did it on Nov. 15. I'm still waiting for PPR, hoping to be soon! Good Luck everybody.

Fingers crossed for everybody. CIC has been nice to us on this forum lately; hopefully CIC will keep up with the trend

Hiiiii Guys.......

Finally after two years...myself and my wife have heard a reply from CIC.........

CIC has asked us to update IMM5669...they mentioned that the interview is waived (although it can be changed later)...
they asked us to submit the PCC's from US and India....and they asked us to do medicals....they gave us 60 days of time...

Now, I have following questions

1. my wife and I are expecting a baby, and the due date is Mid February. I believe we should inform CIC immediately and What is a better way to approach medicals?

2. Since it's December, we may or may not get the FBI Clearance certificate in 60 days...what is a better way out?

Kindly reply
Sarat

First of all congratulations for expecting a new bundle of joy soon.

It is sometimes considered unsafe for a pregnant woman to undergo x'ray so it is safer to do the other tests and wait until after she delivers to do the x'ray. You can inform CIC about your wife's condition.
Regarding the FBI certificate, check current timelines and inform CIC if you think it will go beyond the 60 days. Others on the forum have done this and I think CIC understands that it is not possible in certain cases to get the information requested within the stipulated time.

Cheers.

Hi
First please contact your family doctor and then decide, for the FBI, apply now then think about extension later, I think CIC is already aware of this delay.

Thank you
