hi forum members,
Has anyone got this line with their medical request and FBI before? I would like to know if 30 days was enough time to send these FBI and Police clearance request? If not did anyone send an explanation asi have underlined the words send by CIC? Trying to figure out how long will it take if the explanation is send for the delay of FBI and PCC results.Below is the line I received from CIC last friday......
"Please send the documentation requested above as soon as possible. If we do not receive all the documents requested or the explanation within thirty (30) days from the date of this letter, we shall assume that you are no longer interested in pursuing your application and your application will be refused and your file closed."
Please Please... anyone gone through this.... Share share....

The cosnequences sounds too harsh..."we shall assume that you are no longer interested in pursuing your application and your application will be refused and your file closed." Mine was 60 days and it use the word "may" instead of "will" to describe the consequences of not meeting up with the deadline. I suspect the officer wants to go on vacation in 30 days time and he want to complete your file before then.

???worried... I don't know what the officer wants??? but trying to get things done on my best...fingers crossed for the line to be deleted as he gets it.. .

I don't think you should panic over this and get your blood pressure up. CIC officials are very much aware that there are times when we can not submit the documents they request from us within the stipulated time, they therefore make allowances for such situations. In your case, they have clearly stated that "If we do not receive all the documents requested or the explanation within thirty (30...) days..."

Simply send them an explanation regarding how long it officially takes to get an FBI certificate.

Did u get a request of RPRF for ur child as well beside PP copies?

Hi All,

Just recevied an email from ottpilot asking only for RPRF and my sons passport copies (since his passoport was renewed last year). No medicals, additional documents or PCC has been requested.

Is this normal, shall I email cic regarding medicals or shall I wait.

Any help will be appreciated.

You are right. All by email except for Police certificate. Exactly like it says in the email from CIC.

You should receive the MR soon, we got ours in a month after sending the updated docs.
