Hi all,

Today when I wanted to pay my RPRF online, at first I intended to pay for 3 applications, mine, my wife and my kid.
But then I checked the PR application guideline and figured out children of the applicants are exempted from paying the RPRF, however when paying there is no specific note on the CIC website, even in the FAQ, saying you do not need to pay for your children.

Guys/Gals,

Landed @ peacebridge last friday. The process took about 1/2 hr.It was straight forward. Finally we have completed our PR journey though it was not a very easy path for us.
Ecas status also updated to complete. This forum was of great support in the past 2 years.

I agree now with the others that patience does pay :D

Best wishes to all in the forum.

Thank You

Yes, the category is stated on your CPR. Your are required to show POF at the point of entry, whether the officer asks for it or not is a different thing all together.

What is the kind of POF they required? Traveller's check? or Cash?

cam1234,

As stated by many applicants on this forum, seems like CIC does not process the applications in chronological order.
I've got friends who applied later than me but received communications from CIC a month earlier than I did.
But I feel CIC is trying to finish the FSW1 applications this year.
So I am very positive you will be contacted soon.

If you are comfortable carrying cash, that will do, but ideally any document that would convince the officer should be fine. I have heard cases where officers didn't ask for POF or just demanded to know the fund available to you via a verbal response. But it's risky to assume you won't be asked as people have been denied landing for this reason.
