Congratulations!!! Where in canada are you located?
Hi Anthony,
Did you e-mail Ottawa to check on your passport. I used to think 4 to 5 weeks was the average? I imagine you cleared background/security check before they request for ppr. Anyways, this is Canada where patience is a very useful tool. Hope you get it soon. I am trying to book a flight, and not knowing when my PP will come back is killing me.

Hi Anthony1970! I'm in Edmonton Alberta! And you?

Emailed CIC yesterday to find out whether they received RPRF receipt, proof of settlement funds and medicals. They responded same day that they have received all documents but medical is yet to be uploaded to our files. Was a bit confused as to whether or not it is the doctor who has not sent it yet or whether she sent it but CIC is yet to put it into the individual files. Planning to check with the the doctor just to be on the safe side.

Congratulations honpredictable. :) :) :)

Dear Damodar,

Sad to know that, it made me worry, mybe my file will also be transferred to ryiadh. Have u requested that transfer or they did it by their own? Any communication between u and new york since you sent updated documents to them?

As for me I am still waiting for us visa.

Good Always Positive? did you do paper based medical or emdical? I think for paper based medical, it has to be uploaded mannually in the system. They will take sometime to do so. However I would advice to send email after few days or call the call centre to make sure that medials are uploaded.

There is no risk but it will expedite the process.

Don't waste your time with call center, they have a habit of compounding your situation. ;D

Did eMedical. Thanks for the suggestion, the doctor's office is not picking up the phone so will contact the call centre. Alternatively will wait for a while to see if ecas will be updated.

Bahadur30,

The way you're fretting and going on and on, if you're not careful, you may give yourself heart problems before your PR comes. Relax, live a day at a time, take life easy and thank God for each day, try to preoccupy yourself with things that make you happy - family, friends, your job, your faith etc.

As you mentioned earlier in the post, CIC has acknowledged they have received your medicals. Your PPR is on the way. If you make yourself sick by worrying too much you will not enjoy the PR when it comes. Google search stress and read about the health problems it causes, you will be amazed.

It will be over soon. Remember there are many more important things in life than Canada PR, take time to seek and enjoy those things while patiently waiting for Canada PR.

Cheers.

;)
