Yes everybody get the PPR in 2-3 weeks. And that is why i have started to think that I have taken wrong decesion to do upfront medical.

Can you share the doctors detail where you did your emedical?
This a quote from someone . His user name is Saur. It might be helpful to use his route considering his story

''Hi honpredictable,

Thanks for the warm grats.......

I hope you will receive the PR soon.

Here is my story. I was asked to submit the docs that I did within few days.
I was reading on this forum regarding the e-medical. I came across a post by "bickyii" in CEC forum who did his medicals in Kitchener, Ontario. His processing was very fast.
So I decided to go to the same doctor in Kitchener. The doctor updated the reports very quickly and I got the PPR in the next week. I sent the passport on the same day and got it back within one week.
I'm not sure whether it is because the doctor submitted the reports quickly or just luck factor.

I wish everyone very good luck.''

These are all his/her post. You might even send him/her a personal message. I wish you the best in sorting this out before 60 days.

For 1 person...$140, a family of 2....$120 (per person), a family of 3.....$100 per person. X-ray and blood tests are additional charges

Is there any designated physician in Edmonton/Calgary, Alberta, who does not require the IMM 1017 form?

thanks for the reply. I also use the expresspost envelope. however, instead of mailing it to the Canada Post:

CPP – Ottawa
PO Box 9780
Ottawa ON K1G 4B9

i mailed it to Courier:

CPP – Ottawa
365 Laurier Avenue West
Ottawa ON K1A 1L1

im just worried that mailing it to the courier address will have an effect on the processing of my visa. Although i had an online view of who received my pp. Almost 5 weeks now..
Hi,
Email them asking your status. Probably its getting stamped for you during this week.I believe the timeline is anywhere between 4-8 weeks.Just wait for couple of days more, you will definitely get the good news!

I am also in same boat. No medicals yet. Just hoping it to be soon
:D

Hello,

I applied in late June 2011 and am still waiting.
However, a friend of mine who applied a few days later than I did, has received document update request, medical request and also has been asked to pay the RPR fee. So I am assuming it would SOON be our turn.
Don't get frustrated my friend.

GUYS - I HAVE NOT SEEN A SINGLE CASE WHERE DIFFERENCE BETWEN MEDICAL SENT AND PPR IS MORE THAN A MONTH.

AND THATS THE REASON I AM WORRIED.

SEEMS MY DECESION TO DO UPFRONT MEDICAL WAS WRONG. YOU DONT SAV ANY TIME WHEN EMDICAL IS AVAILABLE ..AND ITS A KIND OF DETOUR WHICH TAKES LONGER TIME AND SOMTIME IN WRONG DIRECTION.

ADVISE - PLEAS WAIT FOR ACTUAL MEDICAL REQUEST AND GO FOR EMEDICAL ..AND THAT IS NORMAL ROUTE ..AND TRUST ME IT WORKS ...
I did my medical two and a half month ago but still waiting for PPR I think you can ask your mp they can check that your medical is on your file or not. You can also order GCMS notes.

What I see is that you are FSW1 applicant and they have just now started working on FSW1 cases ..After the strike.. they have some backlog and they jumped on them.

Also, I think you have made sure that the Medical is attached to the file..

Mine is FSW2 ..I am not able to confirm if they have the medical in the file.. nop sign if medical is reached.. I did upfront medical and dont know if that process is flawed enough to confuse a clerk and he decided not to upload the medical.

I am meeting my MP this monday...and yes I will send out the GCMS notes now ..

This is my advice

Please I appeal to you to send a CASE SPECIFIC ENQUIRY asking if your medicals were received. Attached any medical proof and RPRF receipt with it also. There was a lady under CEC that was denied because they did not receive her medicals and did not hear from her in 60 days.

Please include these details with your mail

Name of the physician who administered the medical examination

· Address and phone number of the physician's office

· Date that the medical examination took place

· Date that the physician sent the medical results to a Canadian Medical Office

· Which Canadian Medical Office the results were sent to

I will also advice you do not rely solely on what your lawyers are sending. Your lawyers are either PR's or Citizens and they don't really have much to loose. Contact CIC personally. They can't expect you to keep quiet when your medical results have not been received considering you have 60 days to get it across. Let them know its already 47 days and you have 13 days left. They should let you know if you need to undergo another medical. I am sure they can't tell you to undergo another medical since upfront medical is allowed by CIC. So someone has to speak up one way or the other.
NB: Make it a CASE SPECIFIC ENQUIRY!
All the best
Finally I convinced my lawer to send CASE SPECIFIC ENQUIRY.

GOING TO GET gcms NOTES ..AND CONTACTING MY mp TO MAKE SURE THAT MEDICAL IS THERE .

IN WORST CASE .. i AM AGAIN GOING FOR E-MEDICAL.
