Thanks usaca. You just have destroyed my worries! :) if all the IME# numbers are same, then i think there is nothing to worry.
A "good" rating for you. :)

Hi canada.aspirant2013, I have made a mistake.

I saw all my IMM 1017 forms on computer where I found same number instead of bar codes. I did not take print out as my doctor did not ask for it.
Just right now I took print out and found there are 3 different IMEs above the bar codes (which was not visible on my laptop).

It would be wise a decision to ask your doctor whether she/he could access your file with your UCI number. If they could access your information they would know your IME number too. My doctor did not ask our IME numbers. They only needed the UCI number which you have.

If she/he could not access your information with your UCI number, they may not be able to do your medical.

Guys

Need help !

I am FSW2 applicant got my medical request on August 29th. As I did my upfront medical on june 22, we reverted back with the proof.

Its almost 47 days and no PPR / no response. My lawyer has sent email twice but no response.

NOW STATED THINKING THAT DID A MISTAKE BY DOING UPFRONT MEDICAL...WHEN TODAY EMEDICAL IS AVAILABLE.

Please advise. Ottawa has become faceless and we are not getting any response.

We have to send the medical within 60 days.

Thanks,

GUYS - I HAVE NOT SEEN A SINGLE CASE WHERE DIFFERENCE BETWEN MEDICAL SENT AND PPR IS MORE THAN A MONTH.

AND THATS THE REASON I AM WORRIED.

SEEMS MY DECESION TO DO UPFRONT MEDICAL WAS WRONG. YOU DONT SAV ANY TIME WHEN EMDICAL IS AVAILABLE ..AND ITS A KIND OF DETOUR WHICH TAKES LONGER TIME AND SOMTIME IN WRONG DIRECTION.

ADVISE - PLEAS WAIT FOR ACTUAL MEDICAL REQUEST AND GO FOR EMEDICAL ..AND THAT IS NORMAL ROUTE ..AND TRUST ME IT WORKS ...

The passport was sent yesterday Oct 15 and I got it today. The passport was sent on Sept 5 (Thu), so they should have received it by Sept 9 (MOn)at the latest.

This is my advice

Please I appeal to you to send a CASE SPECIFIC ENQUIRY asking if your medicals were received. Attached any medical proof and RPRF receipt with it also. There was a lady under CEC that was denied because they did not receive her medicals and did not hear from her in 60 days.

Please include these details with your mail

Name of the physician who administered the medical examination

· Address and phone number of the physician's office

· Date that the medical examination took place

· Date that the physician sent the medical results to a Canadian Medical Office

· Which Canadian Medical Office the results were sent to

I will also advice you do not rely solely on what your lawyers are sending. Your lawyers are either PR's or Citizens and they don't really have much to loose. Contact CIC personally. They can't expect you to keep quiet when your medical results have not been received considering you have 60 days to get it across. Let them know its already 47 days and you have 13 days left. They should let you know if you need to undergo another medical. I am sure they can't tell you to undergo another medical since upfront medical is allowed by CIC. So someone has to speak up one way or the other.
NB: Make it a CASE SPECIFIC ENQUIRY!
All the best

I have heard from my im migration con sultant that for all paper based (not eMedicals) examination results they (Ottawa) has a person who put all this info into computer once they receive it from doctors office or applicant. And this procedure takes a lot of time cause this person is not the quickest one usually. So in your case all emails that you sent with confirmation of the exam should be attached to your case and any officer that take a look at your case will see them, BUT the officer needs to have it in the computer to go ahead with the rest of things (PPR) that is why maybe you just waiting for this person to add your medical data from paper to computer.

I called to the physician's office and they do require IMM 1017 form for each of the applicants. So, I have rescheduled it for next week Friday, 25th Oct. Hope that, by then CIC will send me that IMM 1017.
usaca, where you get your medical test done?

Yes, I got PPR 2-3 weeks after I did eMedical. Doctor asked me for IMM 1017 and the rest of information.

If they are requesting for medicals again it simply means they didn't receive any medical results or they can't find any on file or it's misplaced. And this is one of the several problems of sending what they have clearly not asked for. Unfortunately, you can't force CIC to respond, which is quite frustrating for anyone.

Now here's what I will do if I were in your shoes:

For the fact that your 60 days deadline is almost due, I will call up a doctor with eMed and arrange for another medical straight away. If possible look for a doctors that will forward your results in a a day or two, not weeks. At least you will cover your back. It's better to go through another medical than keeping asking your lawyer to send e-mails and at the end of the day CIC says you have exhausted your deadline and your application can't proceed.

And one more thing, if after all these while your lawyer can't even get a response for you or resolve your situation, I am just wondering while you are still paying/using him?
