Hi friends

I just noticed my original date was written wrong in COPR. Last year i visited France and that was my date of last entry. They wrote both last entry date and original entry date same. Should I ask CIC officer about this? My original entry date is stamped in my passport. I think this dates are important in citizenship application. Does anybody have experience or idea?

thank GOD! ;D after exactly 4 weeks of waiting, my tracker got activated at 17:44 today! cic received my passport on sep-13.

hi again folks anybody waiting more then 5 weeks for Ottawa to return their passport...ottawa received mine on aug14th and the last communication they told me, they cannot estimate the time they will be able to return the passport but will do best to return it as soon as possible ..

congrats to all who received good news in regards to their application ..and for all those waiting ..stay positive and trust in God ..your breakthrough is closer then u think

That's nearly 8 weeks now. Are you sure you sent your passport to the right place? 5 weeks seem to be the max wait time right now

Did you ask you for PPR? If yes, when? How long after you did your medicals? What about Doc Request?

No PPR yet, I did meds 8/13 they asked for docs 9/13 and they received the docs this past monday. Hope they ask for ppr...still waiting

You should get to the next stage within 4 weeks. I got response on the 4th week for medicals

1. I am applying for FBI clearance certificate today, I know there is Gov. shutdown going on + on top of it Holiday season is coming, How long does it take to get the FBI certificate? CIC has given me 60 days time period.

2. I am type 1 diabetic, although diabetes is under very well control, I am little worrying about my medical test. Could you please help me to understand the exact process with DMP, what kind of reports the doctor will perform, being diabetic what are the additional reports the doctor may ask for?

Please apply for the FBI clearance ASAP, I got it in 2.5 months when I applied for it in 2011, however after you apply , keep a copy of the online receipt, your UPS receipts and if it don't come within 50 days, you sent them the receipts with a letter explaining that you applied soon after CIC requested, but the process is slow in the States. They will wait until you sent it to them, hopefully you get it way before 60 days
Not sure about diabetes, please check with your local or family doctor the day before your actual medicals to see if everything's ok and any doctor would tell you about how the full body medical check up is done. Hope this helps..

same here Alex, good observation, I realise when I offer a suggestion, I often get a minus. It bothered me a bit and I commented on it earlier and received many more minuses and 2 pluses, but now honestly I don't care. I suggest you continue doing the good work by offering help and ignore what negative people think. I know I will get tons of minuses for this but honestly, I don't really care.
