Its almost 40 days and I am waiting for PPR after medical results were sent.

They sent me MR on 29th August and my lawyer reverted back on 3rd Sept ... I was hoping to get PPR within a month ..but no luck so far.

Anybody else on the same boat ..waiting for PPR for more than a month.

Thanks.

I'm FSW2, once you get your passport with the visa stamped... In how long you have to fly to canada... I mean, do you have a limit time to travel? I understand it would say in the visa a date but anyone knows how long usually it is??

My only worry is that..they should not come back after 60 days
passed and say where is the Medicals and do take some decesion based on that.

I need a confirmation that they have received the medicals..

My ecas is not updated...

Provide some guidance...

Please don't call me crazy but I guess i was so excited that I din't pay attention to anything. I got the request for RPRF n medicals for FSW file on 16th Sep 2013...paid the rprf but did not receive the medical form.

And after emailing CIC, suddenly on october 01, 2013 I got the medical form. I am done with the medicals but I realized today only that the medicals were for my CEC file. And now I am confused what to do. Can somebody please advise should I be concerned or not about my files.

This ought to have been detected by your doctor. So I would go to the doctor to tell them about the mix up.

Pls dont panic, there is always a way out of every situation. I have had someone said on this forum before that you can tell the clinic to send the result of a test done for one category to the second category. And that you can also refer CIC to the test that you have done for a previous medical request. Hope this helps a little.

Hi JJ-C, when i went for the medicals, the doctors office just asked for the passport and the form immigration sent me. I did not provide them with any of the file numbers. I guess they will submit it for my CEC file, the one I got the medical form for.

I also read somewhere on this website that the same medical results can be used for both the files... so I am just waiting for the doctor to submit the results then, I can email CIC for the FSW to access the medical results. I am hoping I'll be okay.

I sent the parcel on Sept 19, and the parcel arrived to Ottawa on Sept 20. In Sept. 20, its status is "out for delivery" but it has not been delivered yet, or it does not show that it is delivered.

I called the Canada post, they said it has been delivered. From the other side, I asked my friend and she said that for her it has been delivered and the status shows that it is delivered. For me, it is strange.

Do I have to trust Canada post or Do I have to contact CIC to be sure that my passports are delivered.

Do you have any idea or ...?

Same here, sent my parcel last week and tracked it online. It stil showing out for delivery but when I phoned Canada Post they said it was delivered the next day after mailing it, it was delivered in a bulk which means a bunch of mail sent to one address.

Please if there anyone else that is about to send his/her passport to Ottawa and in view of these recent delivery problems/ bulk delivery--please use the SIGNED FOR OPTION - it cost an extra $1.50 or so.

1. A signed for mail should not and cannot be BULK delivered. Its a service you have paid for
2. After delivery, you will see the signature and name of the person that received your parcel and you can save the pdf format.

In this way, we can at least be sure it was delivered and canadapost cannot leave the update as '' out for delivery'' or venture to do bulk delivery.

I hope this will help someone.

God bless

Hi guys,

I have a problem with the doctor who was supposed to do my medicals. I gave him all my results last week and he told me it would take him half day to do the forms. Today I went to his office to get the latest about the meds, he told me he had finished them but I found a mistake in the country of birth. So he told me he would change them and give me back later today. He never did and tonight he is leaving the country for a week or so. My deadline to submit is next week. What can I do? Any help is appreciated.

P.S. He is the only doctor in whole country.

Even if you go for the 'signature' option, it still doesn't mean the mail will go straight to someone's desk. There's probably hundreds of mails (if not more) coming in everyday, and they have to be sorted and profiled even after delivery has been made by Canada post - there's still some processing going on inside CIC. I sent my document last week and it took just one day for the xpresspost to be delivered. That same day I got the delivery certificate/signature of the person who signed for it. But when I e-mailed the Case officer, he/she said the mail is not received yet.

So you all should relax and wait to see how it plays out.

I don't understand all your post? Are you sending the medicals yourself? Why is he giving them back to you? Were you given 30 or 60 days to complete meds?

it is true that it does not go to your officer's desk straightaway, (it might take some more days before it is finally dispatched to your case officer within cic office) but at least you are sure it was delivered and someone in CIC received it and was signed for.
