hmmm, interesting...I applied in June 2011 as a FSW1 and still did not hear anything from Ottawa, either MR requests or updated forms...Anyway, good luck to you.

Hope you get them soon.

cheers

Wow that makes even me hopeful as FSW1 November applicant to get
Some news!

Friends:

Those FSW1 candidates who have received their visa recently and live outside Canada, is the date of your visa expiration to land in Canada exactly a year after you took your medicals?

Thank you,
Cam

Hi Everyone! Hope you're all doing well!
Still waiting for my passport right now. I sent it Sept. 18- received by Visa office - Sept.20, 2013. Hopefully we'll get it soon!!
But today, I also got RPRF and Medical Request for my CEC application! As what they always say " When it rains, it pours" :)
Just have to wait for my passport and do the landing before I will withdraw my application under CEC. What do you think guys? Thanks a lot!

Yes, the best bet is to land before withdrawing the application.

And if you want to tease them a bit just like the did to us, you may forward the reciept of the RPRF that you have paid to them and also refer them to your MR that you did with this application. Double congrats. It is always good to have double assurances.

Don't do that, because by doing so taking an officer's time from
An applicant like us

Believe me, Samnov, if they were willing to process applicants quicker and allow more foreign workforce into Canada, they would hire more people. So it is not about officer's time.
