That's the problem

Some people say go for medical, others say wait
One CIC agent says go for medical, another one says wait for form/instructions... both are super confident about what they say
Some physicians do without form, others need the form

The only way to communicate with CIC is via email, where they often do not reply
Call center agents can not access CPP-Ottawa files

I do not mind waiting and keeping in silence, but it is my right to be informed what is going on.
I do not wanna someone contacts me and say we were waiting for your medicals for 60 days or whatever, so we regret to tell you the bad news...... and of course feel free to re-apply

i second you on that PRian... the CIC agent I talked told me to get the medicals done which USUALLY is okay and rest of the people told to wait for the form

Thanks alot guys ... I remember those times when i was patiently waiting for any move on my file and now within 2-3 months I am done with everything. It still feels like a dream. I was pretty sure that my case would be finalised next year and checking ecas 4-5 times a day became a routine for me!! But, I am glad its all over now !! I hope you all guys get good news soon, coz i know how it feels when we wait each and every minute second of a day for getting some news on our case!! Can you please tell me the source from where you get that DM will have medical forms - these are not sent by CHC anymore?

I was wondering whether it is just a conclusion came form our conversation or you know it from somewhere.

again, pl note - forms are not being sent out - u can proceed to medicals without the form

opt for e-medical enabled doctor for fast processsing

They did not say that we needed to have forms. I described them my situation.

They can access our files online with the help of UCI numbers where they can add our medical results directly. They asked my UCI number and after checking they replied me that my UCI number was not updated in the medical list. And then they suggested me to ask CIC to add my UCI number in the medical list so that they could perform my medical.

But I got confused. I did not ask CIC anything like that. I decided to wait for their response.

Now it has been 2 weeks since CIC asked medical information without sending the forms.

kipling and PRian, you could check your UCI number by any panel physician over phone.

I am not sure about where I could find CIC officer's code from.

The only possible number I found in my email is TK8373.

Lady in the first office said may be immigration will send me the medical from later or the doctor's office can create an ID for me...but if the ID doesn't match with the one created by CIC (I think she was talking about the BARCODE), for merging both the ids they will charge $25. I asked her can't she pull the form from my UCI...she said they can do it too PROBABLY.

The recep of the other office said I can still get my medicals done.

So I have booked an appointment for Friday. Let's see what happens. Hopefully, I'll get a medical form from CIC before that

When I heard about the the creation of code from the doctor's office I contacted before, I was scared.
Here your doctor is saying some sort of same thing, isn't she?
She told me about creation of UCI number...may be she wanted to told me about creation of barcodes like your doctor said.
