Usaca, don't know what is going on here. Even I am confused now what to do
Some Doctors will agree to upfront medicals (at least you are paying for it, and they are opened for business), but if anything happens after that (such as medicals not received, CIC not having results on file, etc) you can't really get help from the Doctor's office. The rule states that only family class applicants can do upfront medicals. Again, if you want eMed, you will do well to have your IME #, and that has to be on the forms

Below is some information, which an experienced man 'TERKI' had posted on another thread:

"CPP (O) spokesperson did clarify in ICCRC meet that CPP (O) is clearing backlogs and prioritizing applications in the following order

BUFFALO TO OTTAWA TRANSFERRED CASES
FSW2 - THOSE WITH VALIDATED OFFER
CEC

2010 fsw

FYI - AS ON APRIL 2013 - CPP (o) HAS 3000+ FSW backlog applications which is an acceptable figure and should shoot out all of these close to November"

Cool. Informative indeed.
But, according to (http://www.canada.com/Deadline+looms+thousands+forgotten+would+immigrants+await+decision/8844433/story.html), as of August 28th, there were 3568 cases still waiting to be processed. And from Terki's post, as of April Ottawa has 3000+ backlogs. Then it appears that Ottawa has not processed much of the applications during this summer!! Does not make sense to me.
There is something wrong in either one of these two information.

as of aug 30 those figures were quoted in the url

however as of yesterday when i wrote - 3000+ cases have been waiting

not necessarily they aren't being processed - they are being routed to different offices to reduce work load too and the target is to close these by dec 2013

well this is how much authenticated I know from cpp(o) -

You are right com2canada.
Now I have full doubt about the procedures of this kind of doctors. Today I had a discussion with Dr. Jimmy Wong's office staff. I asked her whether she needed any information like UCI or IME etc. Her answer was totally horrifying. She told me that she would create UCI for me if I did not have any. Another thing she told me that UCI and IME are the same numbers...just in different forms.

I don't know what this doctor is doing in CIC website. He is a panel physician enlisted in cic website http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx

City: New York
Name: Jimmy Wong
Address: 33 Bowery Street, Suite B201,
New york
10002
Telephone: (212) 431-3111
Spoken Languages: Cantonese, Chinese, English, Mandarin

Guys, the Alberta government made changes to its Provincial Nominee requirements thus simplifying the system a little bit. In case you know anyone who may be interested, the link is below:

http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/immigrating/srs-post-graduate-worker.aspx.

Just so you know, application for nomination is free and it takes just about a month to process. I would give it a whirl.

Take your time to do a constructive e-mail to CIC detailing your situation and provide/refer them to any evidence you have (such as past e-mails). They will send you forms ASAP. It's better you wait for CIC to get your forms than getting stuck by some doctor. That's the way I played in my own case - I had a similar situation - my medical forms arrived without my spouse's.

com2canada, i wrote them...the officer replied back to confirm if i received the form....i told him i havent...no reply since then...so emailed them today...let's c wats the outcome

plz let us know if they reply you back...i believe your situation is better than me...at least they told you that they are sending your forms later...they know it.

I just noticed that 'Medical results have been received.' was added on my profile. I did med exams on Sep 17th, so just a week ago. BUT, the interesting thing is that there is no "in process" note, just received in 2011... and med received...

Maybe they just sending update/med requests, but don't really process it? :) Will see.
