Have not visited this forum for a while. Nice to see that quite a number Of people are getting MR, hope 2011 applicants start getting PR soon. As I understand now it's just av11 who got PPR or there was somebody else.

By the way cic has updated the processing time now for Ottawa it's 15 months.

I have applied under FSW2 on Dec 09, 2011 (under CEC in Oct 2012).

I got the request to send the updated documents (for FSW2 application) with updated job letter on June 28, 2013. I sent the docuemts via e-mail on July 08, 2013.

I got the request to send RCMP report on July 09, 2013 that was sent on July 11, 2013.

Nothing after that....I'm still waiting for the MR...

In my Case, my company is taken over by another one, So I updated my appointment letter, Reference letter, Salary Slips

My lawyer has send the documents on 12th July by post, till now no response from CIC . Still waiting !!!

Did anyone send the document by post .. instead of scan copy through email ?

Now I believe in what Steve Jobs said "Life is not fair." Now 38months of waiting while other applicant with similar or less qualifications (as PhD stream) get passed for less than 15moths. Even worse, many of the PhD stream were less qualified than mine. They only had completed 2 years, I have completed the degree. They are not working, I work full time faculty member in Canada since degree completion.

How this effect our attitude and morality in future? Hope we can stay positive. I have sent very strong email to the minister asking clarification about this unjustness process system.

My timeline as well as application stream is very similar to yours.
I filed my application back is March 2010 (to Sydney NS as a Ph.D. student). Sent the entire package to Buffalo in May 2010. In September 2010 they sent me my entire application package back and told me to submit IELTS scores. I had written a letter stating that all my education has been in English (since the day I started going to school) but still they asked for IELTS. I sent my file back to Buffalo with IELTS scores in December 2010. Received file number in June 2011. Then got medical request in May 2012. After that nothing. Applied for GCMS twice already but it shows nothing has started by CPP-Ottawa. There are just some notes at the end by Buffalo stating that they sent MR and asked for RPRF in May 2012, which I have already paid. Even my ecas does not show that medical results have been received. Just states that application is in process.
After completing my Ph.D. back in June 2011, I started working in Canada. Now I sometimes think that I should have moved to US after completing my degree. Here I need a co-signer even to buy a car because I am not a permanent resident. I keep on updating my work permit hoping that this would be the last time before PR. I am even thinking of applying under CEC stream just to improve the odds (but 1 in million and 2 in million kind of look the same ).

Sorry for the long post but I have been looking for someone with similar timelines and stream as mine and now I found you so just wanted to vent out my frustrations.
Please do post any new updates on your file and I will do the same.

Yes, we have already submitted the medical result. But nothing happens after that.

I have a question conserving CAIPS notes, it's been more than 35 days since we ordered them and still have not receive anything, I just check that they gave a tracking number in the confirmation email, does anyone know how to use it?
