we have the same timeline, what does your GCMS notes say? any new updates?

Hello JLNJ2013

I got my GCMS back in April.
Based on the notes, nothing special has been done on my file since it was transferred to Ottawa.
I recently applied for a new GCMS. I'll share any new updates as soon as I get it.

Could you please explain further what you mean by nothing special? I mean, did they do anything in the past year? I am expecting my GCMS in next week and very hopeful to see at least some updates.

Dear waterton,

we have the same timeline. I am shocked that some other FSW1 applicants have received their MD, but we didn't receive anything!
I received my GCMS notes in May 2013. Just my Criminality was in process. There were lots of expired due dates on the file too.
I am so frustrated. :(

my husband got a email from CIC few weeks ago..
It says "our records confirm that your file is currently processed at the Case Processing Pilot (CPP-O) in Ottawa. Please be assured that CPP-O officers will contact you again in the future, if additional information or documentation is required."
is it good news? or just automated reply...?
we are fsw2, received by VO in Jan 2012.

Usually they reply like this when we asked about the case status. This is not bad sign at all. Its normal.

Hi All,

I got PPr on 16th july. And PP has been sent and received on 18th july. Today ecas status changed to decision made. Any idea how long it will take from here to receive PP back?

Friends,

I got updated form request today .. One of the form is -

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm0008_3e.pdf

I suppose this form has been changed since we applied for the first time in 2011. They are asking again to provide the proof for English Test (IELTS). I took the test sometime April 2011 and included that when I submitted my application in June 2011.

Generally the IELTS score is valid for 2 years, which means valid until April 2013.

Do you think do I have to write the test again?

I am sure everyone here getting updated form request and also sure they have gone through same document.

Please advise.

Yes this is true for files transferred from Buff to Ott and have been waiting to be processed .

now that they have started to handle this batch - similiar requests follows to all in the queue

Terki,

Are you responding to my query?

Hello all,

I got really worried after I read Bahadur30's post.
I submitted my original IELTS results along with the application back in 2011.
This is really ridiculous if they ask for that again.
Could other members advise if those waiting for a reply from CIC would better apply for a copy of the IELTS results before CIC asks for it?

Thanks,

I updated my forms without those support and got medical afterwards. So I assume it is not required. Hope it helps.
