Hi All,

I got my GCMS few days back and nothing has changed on my file. Considering that CIC has promised to assess our file this year and with the speed that they are moving now, we shd at least get MR and RPRF this year.

Could you please share some parts of your GCMS. I am expecting to receive mine for the first time in next few days and don't know how it looks and what information it will provide.

Wow ma sha Allah Ottawa is working, especially for our compatriots that applied fsw1 post June I'm so happy for those that got the MR so far, and I pray for a quick process to PPR.

GCMS is provided in a PDF format file. It is a long file, mine was 43 pages!
It contains all the information about your application icluding:
Your personal data, status, eligibility assessment, your total points,
status of the security and criminal checks, the dates of all CIC correspondence with you, application status, activities performed on your file, your paper file transfer history, and some notes made by the officer.
It also contains some codes in some parts which I have no idea what they mean.

I hope you get good news in your GCMS.

i heard from someone that early 2011 applicant who had added spouse after initial application are waiting for their visas, other people have received there visas. is it true?

No it's not. I am early 2011 applicant and I had my wife in the file since the beginning and have not received medical or passport request yet. There lots of people like me.

For example, for the criminality check or medical request the due dates are 2012/08/31 in the GCMS, but they are not complete yet.
Does anybody have any idea as to what extent CIC is responsible to meet the due dates? What is the applicant's rights in this situation?

Due Dates are for departments to finish a given task... This may be extended depending on cases or as complexity occurs
