I did received my CAIPS notes at the end of last month. But no progress at all. Even my backgroung/ security check was not started. If you see my timeline, few people with similar timeline are getting medical request and RPRF. I don't know when my turn will come.

I applied for a new GCMS today. I would share the result as soon as I get it.
This is strange, looks like there is not an exact timely manner in which applications are processed.
Antony1970, who applied in Sep 2011 has received his Med request.
I hope you hear good news in the following days.

I am in Canada. They never asked me for additional information or update.

same here...I applied in sept. 2010(long long ago!) and just got Medical and fees request. They did not ask for additional documents nor said anything about interview. Don't know if they are gonna ask for updated info after receiving medical report, which means more waiting time. Sigh...

No contact from Ottawa and I do see applicants who have files later than me started getting MR.

bahadur send CSE or ask ur MP to co-ordiante and get an update , u have the right to ask due to this unusual delay

I did talk to my MP and he talked to the officer and got an update.
And the update is - check back again in september.

Last time when I escalated, it was check back in July.

I was expecting my MP to request for processing. Can they do it.
I am thinking of my employer to send and inquiry.

My lawyer has sent an inquiry too but no response to her email.

Please aadvise on next steps.

your lawyer must strongly present this considering the time that has surpassed the normal processing time prior to strike -- in comparison to others ur file has accured lenghty timeline - have ur lawyer to work well on representation along with MP - reply will follow within 2 weeks --

check back in sept is not a reply - order GCMS

Remember - ordering GCMS triggers action on ur file for good

My timeline is almost identical and I too am a FSW2 applicant. I applied in June 2011 and received my confirmation in August 2011. I have heard nothing since. I am getting periodic updates from my MP but nothing of any substance. Every time I speak to her office I am told my medical request will come soon. This is going on almost 12 months.

I applied for GCMS notes a few weeks ago so we will see what happens from there.

It is beyond frustrating to see September 2011 FSW2 applicants getting processed while we wait on the bench. Congrats to those people, I am not frustrated with them, rather with the process.
