Finally, I got PPR today :D :D

Quick question: for Right of Permanent Residence Fee they only gave me the following option:
Methods of payment: You must submit your payment by certified bank draft. Payment must be made in Canadian dollars, payable to the “High Commission of Canada” and must be drawn on a Canadian bank.
Can I pay it online on CIC site and sent the receipt.

For FBI criminal record check; is there a quicker way to get the answer as it can take long and I only have 90 days?

Wish you all the best :D

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

i got ME and RPRF also.
but i have a big problem, please advise thanks.
i have to add newborn to my application, but im overstay in USA now. so in form "current country of residence" and "status", what's the better answer for these two blanket?

you cant' misrepresent - use U.S.A and previously valid status can be stated. unlikely they will verify - if they do , have a neat explanation ready , overall it shouldn't affect the case as long as its valid reason..

that is how much I can say

Cant you get extention?????? :o :o :o

already overstay :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X

I just checked my ECAS and finally after 1.5 years there is an update:

They added a second line and it now says:

"We received your application for permanent residence on September 12, 2011.

We started processing your application on July 10, 2013."

What does processing mean, as I already received my MR and RPRF?

So you know you have overstayed, and that probably makes me think you already know the answers to the question you are asking here.

Today I received my MR and RPRF as well. I anxiously await next steps!
From those who have gone through this, how long after Medicals will the visa be issued?

It took a little over 3 weeks for me to receive a passport request and my status on cic changed to "decision made". Someone else on this forum recently posted that it took another 3 weeks after passport request for visa to be issued and passport returned.

Requesting MR and RPRF is part of processing

Thanks terki. They seem to have started working through applications quite fast lately. Hopefully they will keep up the pace. Good luck to you.

P.S. The other person I was referring to earlier was inquiry001, who already got passport back with visa, has timeline similar to mine and posted info on this forum on July 8.

Hello,

It looks like CPP Ottawa has started processing the applications of 'Forgotten applicants of Buffalo'.
I have a question I hope someone could answer here. When reviewing the comments made by those who have received a notification from CIC, I noticed there's not an exact timely manner in which their applications were processed. In a situation, applicants who have applied 3 months apart have been contacted at almost the same time. Does any body know in what order the applications are processed?
I applied to Sydney under FSW1 on June 28th, 2011. It was then transferred to Ottawa in July 7th, 2012.
Is there any chance I'd be contacted by CIC before the end of summer? Any idea?

Thanks.
