Hi Chirag;
Congratulations to you. It's the best news in this category I've ever heard. So Ottawa is touching MI2(FSW1).

I think police certificate is waived for you at this moment and no need to submit.
By the way, I have a question about your job history letter that you submitted when you applied: were your duties written exactly the same as duties in your NOC or they were rephrased? Did you had almost all the duties mentioned in your NOC?
The reason I ask this that Ottawa has rejected some just because the duties sentences were not exactly the same as NOC duties?

Thank you in advance.

I got medical request today and advice to pay PR fee as well but they did not request Police Clearance certi.. Does that mean It is waived for me. Or will i get notice to submit PCC at some later stage??
Should I pay PR fee at this stage or I can wait till they request passport?
My timeline is as;
Category-FSW1
applied to Sydney Canada- Dec 2010
1st AOR- JAN 2011
applied to buffalo- march 2011
File transfer to Ottawa- June 2012
Ottawa - medical Request-07/10/2013.

Please give me your opinion.
I got the exact same e-mail too - Medical request and RPRF. Was wondering if they considered how long one has stayed in Canada for them to waive police certificates ( I am not sure if they have actually waived it though), as they didn't request any.

Just a quick question regarding Medicals: The attached form had my details pre-printed on it. Just wondering if I will get medical forms for my spouse at the Doctor's office? I know Medical exam rules have changed recently. And the new forms are not available to download online.

i got ME and RPRF also.
but i have a big problem, please advise thanks.
i have to add newborn to my application, but im overstay in USA now. so in form "current country of residence" and "status", what's the better answer for these two blanket?

Today I received my MR and RPRF as well. I anxiously await next steps!
From those who have gone through this, how long after Medicals will the visa be issued?

Congrats!
Did anybody from FSW1 who got Medical receive an additional information request in the previous months?
I have the exact same timeline as you guys, but as I am a PhD student, Ottawa asked me to update them with my PhD status in Feb. 2013.

Could you please provide more details about their request to update your PhD status?

Sure!
In Feb. 2013, I received an email with subject: Additional Information Request from Ottawa-CPP.
They asked for my CV, list of publications, and supervisor's contact info, and in a separate email, background information of my wife.
Did anybody receive such an email?

Yes, same happened with me. You have to fill the form which appear below the receipt notice. And when you send through email, in the main body of email add your application number, name and other details.

Regards

Finally, I got PPR today :D :D

Quick question: for Right of Permanent Residence Fee they only gave me the following option:
Methods of payment: You must submit your payment by certified bank draft. Payment must be made in Canadian dollars, payable to the “High Commission of Canada” and must be drawn on a Canadian bank.
Can I pay it online on CIC site and sent the receipt.

For FBI criminal record check; is there a quicker way to get the answer as it can take long and I only have 90 days?

Wish you all the best :D

Thanks in advance,
