Hi,
I guess on 25th you should first email Ottawa and ask and request them to check why Port of Spain VO didn't send you any updates and I can do the same and then later email Port of Spain VO b/c they will only bother it Ottawa questions them.

It's going to be 2 month next week Monday since our applications were transferred to Port of Spain. None of us on this forum is yet to receive anything from that visa office as of today. I'll definitely email the visa office on Tuesday the 25th if nothing is heard from them by then. I think if we can all bombard port of Spain with application status request emails from next week, trust me they will start working on our cases. From my findings by way of reading thru the whole of family class tread for port of Spain on this forum, I discovered that Port of Spain is such a sluggish visa office that always claim to be understaff in such that one will have to consistently email them severally to hear back from them. I will without fail email them on Tuesday the 25th.If someone else from here can do that on 26th and another on 27th and another on 28th and several others thereafter, they will definitely start getting back to us. If you guys agree with this game plan, then let discuss about who will email when. But if you all think this doesn't make sense,then just overlook this post

Hi Hamid - Once you returned all your docs did CIC respond to you or was their next contact the medical request? I returned everything they asked for yesterday but have only received the auto-reply.

I seems the applicants after us (I applied in June and it seems you applied in May) are already getting some communication from CPP-Ottawa

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday i received e-mail from cpp-o to submit my passport to Ottawa office for visa stamping, but my question is that i am in US and i have to send my passports to Canada, so sending is not a problem but if i send a prepaid envelop with the package will they use that to send my passport back or they will use their source of mailing documents has any one send passport from USA to Canada and experienced any problems.

Pls anyone reply me ASAP i am sending my PPS out tomorrow

I would say you send from fedex and prepaid envelope from fedex, becoz it international company. I dont know that they can use usps. Dont gobfor that.

doesn't matter wt u use - fedex, dhl, ups, as long as u include prepaid envelope in it and u have tracking #

all it is to fly your passport to cpp-o

Hi, I am FSW2 - october 2011 applicant and today I got updated document request from Ottawa. The only thing that worry's me is that i am unmployed since Jan 2012 and did not work under any employer. I am no longer employed under employer who gave me permanent job offer. Can this situation lead to refusal? Please advice me seniours

Just received an email from CIC. They are requesting additional documentation.

Updated IMM0008 “Generic Application Form For Canada”
Updated IMM5669 “Schedule A” for yourself and your spouse(if applicable) and dependents over 18 (if applicable)
Updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” for yourself and your spouse (if applicable) and dependents over 18 (if applicable)
Updated “Schedule 3” for yourself

I wrote earlier too on a similar case. this is exactly why CPP-O asks for updated forms

of course they will not proceed without these - so your options are :

Voluntarily withdrawal of application - with reason
Return home country
apply under CEC Class - subject to u have 30hrs/wkly for 1 year on noc.o.a.b

Yes, i worked for 18 months on that job. I dont have open work permit but the permit under my employers name which is valid till october 2013.
