revival - WE HAVE THE SAME SITUATION ALMOST THE SAME TIMELINE, MINE WENT TO PORT OF SPAIN TOO...Let just watch each others movement...Good luck to all of us, Lets wait next movement for the "two (2) months as promised..

Revival / Philcad,

I am FSW1, without job offer. My timeline is on the left. Still i haven't heard any news from Ottawa. Lets see, whether Ottawa transfers my file to some other office or they keep at Ottawa. Also when i received my CAIPS notes on January 2013, there were no progress on my background check or criminality check etc.

Thanks,
Andy

Hello Inquiry,
Was your application transferred to any other visa office?

Hello Moon Moon,

I am also planning to do the same but I have a question. Is it valid if we send them that way? because I heard from some of my friends that we have to send them only when requested. Kindly clarify

Hi Sarat,

If you already got PCCs , my suggestion would be send them referring you application number. Pls let me know how exactly you are sending, like just referring application number on a paper along with PCCs?

I am waiting to receive PCCs..planning to send them as soon as I get 'em. lets be in touch on this topic.

Friends!

I got my GSMS notes and apparently nothing has started. You can check my timelines below.

I am bit low now and taking off from this forum for sometime. I will be back if there is some good news.

Thanks.

deadsea - every area has a different MP. I would just google it to see who is your MP.

bahadur - that is so strange nothing has been started yet. have you emailed jason kenneys office yet?

Hey everyone!

CIC has just updated the website!

They changed the 15 months processing period of Ottawa-CPP to 13 months! ;D
Hope this would result in faster processes, and many good news for us. ;)

Take care!

Hi Bahadur,
You don't have any reason to be down and low my friend. You have everything to be grateful for. Just finished watching power and politics on CBC.The Ontario premier was interviewed regarding the foreign worker program. Lot of changes are expected to be introduced soon that will affect so many future immigration applicants to Canada. I think you need to be thankful for the fact that you were qualified to apply in the first place. Secondly, you need to be grateful for the fact that you were deemed eligible applicant and thirdly for the fact that your application is in process.
If you cast your mind back to when you started the race, many started with you but were dropped off the race. Some even wish they could be part of the race, but from the on-set, they weren't fit for the race. Here you are my Brother, you weren't only fit for the race, you were enlisted and not only enlisted, you are still very much in the race. You didn't drop off mid way. Just hang in there, you are almost getting there. Trust me on this, the finish line is in view.
Every time I go to grocery store, most especially Wal-Mart I always meet loads of people on queue waiting to pay. Sometimes when I look at the long line, I always felt like when is going to be my turn but I discovered that the moment one person paid and leaves the line, it always take me a step closer to my turn. In the same vein, everyday, every medical and ppr issued bring you closer. You are just a few steps, few days, few CIC contacts away from your PR.

OMG, it is the biggest joke of the month especially in this tread where people are waiting for years. If they consider 13 months since Ottawa received the application, it means nothing cause Ottawa started working 12 months ago. Hope for the best of course

Thanks Joec19. Do you think it is a good idea to email my MP if my file is in process for only 2 months?

No I would wait at least 9-12 months. Your process has just begun so your MP probably won't have much to say at this point.
