Hi, I applied in March 2011 and received 1st AOR in April 2011. My Ecas status stuck on RBVO since May 2011. Lets see what will happened to my application which is with Ottawa since July 2012. I applied without job offer.

I applied in March 2011 under FSW to Buffalo and now Ottawa. I got AOR in April 2011. Nothing after that. Do you think we will hear anything in year 2013 ?

I doubt they will process applications within 2 months as they did not mention that in one of the emails copied in an earlier posts (maybe the email varies individually). I think the clock will reset once our files our transferred just like it did when our files were transferred to ottawa. They appear to be playing Frisbee with our files.

I hope I am wrong. This is extremely frustrating and I wish there was a way to have our voices heard. Is any one arranging any protests in Toronto area?

I go by what my email says and do not make assumptions. Please stop making up stuff. It only creates confusion among other applicants.

I have said it here and else where before now that your lawyer, MP, Senator or even Prime minister Harper does not have a "clue" what your "exact" situation with regard to processing your file is. Only the visa office does.
The people that are arguing and almost getting personal here should all go and drink fresh cold milk, relax, and patiently wait to hear from your visa office.

I got an email from MY VISA OFFICE saying that I would hear from them within the next 2 months. And of course you can trust a minister. After all the backlog problems, he has been in touch with every visa office and is able to know what's going on with all the files.

Geez. Stop being such Debbie Downers. This is a win-win situation for all of us, a way to optimize resources and process ALL files faster.

I didn't actually refer to any particular person in my post. I guess you were in a hurry to personalize issues by condescending so low as to name calling. I used the words "The people ... " and I see you have just actually identified yourself.

Curiously, you appear to be the smart guy but obviously can't see that you actually agreed with me in your first paragraph, and went on to name calling in your second one.

So who, really, is the Debbie downer (By the way, it's "downer" for one person, not "downers" - that's if you know the difference?) - to borrow your own deluded disconnect.

I was replying to your post and a couple of other ones that seemed to discredit what the government says about our files. I prefer to trust the Minister and his staff - we've all started seeing progress re the backlog.

Hello everyone!
I have a question, does everyone of you received an email that your file was transferred to CPP Ottawa? We have not received any email and e-case still shows RBVO. We applyed in june 2011. I am thinking maybe We should email them and ask where is our application. Just a bit worried that they might have lost our application.

Hi Worth2Wait - I don't think everyone gets a message. I never was informed of my file being transferred but in follow up emails to CPP Ottawa they acknowledged it is there.

Agreed. They never notified people by email.

However, Ottawa did publish a public press release via their website. You should always keep an eye on both your email inbox and CIC's website.

Hi moon moon,

Have you submitted your PCC's to CIC? I am in a similar situation. I did not submit one PCC during the time I have applied. Now I have it. So, would it be wise to send it now? or do I have to wait until the VO asks for the PCC?

Thanks
Sarat

////Hi folks

Checking this forum after long time, I am FSW1, MI-3 applicant, app receipt date 6th July 2011. remaining details in profile. I understand all Buffalo VO applicants struugling with long time lines.

I havn't submitted PCCs along with application as PCCs should be latest while reviewing the application at VO, since all Buffalo application moved to CPP-Ottawa, do I need to wait till they request PCCs or I can submit them before hand, I yet to apply for them and it may take 2 months to get it. Please suggest what needs to be on this PCCs.//////

Thanks for the reply..

though CPP didnot request me for PCCs, I'll start applying for PCCs and will send them soon.

Hope they will not ask me again in future saying these are outdated! :)
