come2canada is right, they are working only for pre-june 2010. Nadeem got passport request because he has job offer. He is under FSW2, those who are under FSW1 have no chance to get anything before all pre-june2010 are done.

I've got a job offer too :( And I've heard nothing from them since my AOR

yosemite - your profile says you received your meds and passport request recently. so shouldn't you have status relatively quickly?

I got MR/RPRF/biodata requests for my CEC application. No movement on the FSW2...ecas says RBVO and have not heard from Ottawa either.

Good to know. I'm applying for CEC in a few days...

Dear all,

not only me, I remember a couple people other than me from 2011 has got their PPR from Ottawa, I'm sorry, I can't provide the reference but I know.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/ottawa.asp

Federal Skilled Workers
MI02/03 – All files received between June 26, 2010 and June 30,2012 will be assessed in 2013
MI01 – Files received between Feb 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010: as many as possible will be processed in 2013. There is a commitment to complete MI1 cases by fall, 2014.

But according to Ottawa their priority is MI02 and MI03 for 2013 and MI01 will depends and will finalize MI01 by 2014.

I hope this will help. But still I can say, this depends on individual cases.

Regards,
Nadeem

they are not expressions
MI01, 02, 03 are Ministerial instructions depending on the year you applied you are in one of this groups
- GCMS is simillar to caips so its the status of your file

just a concern regarding phone number/s from CIC--- does anybody at this forum know what immigration officers use to contact employers of the applicants? If it is a toll free number or not to be specific,..the reason is because my employer doesn't answer phone calls from an 800-866-or what ever toll free number because of telemarketers. Thanks guys.

But sorry I didn't get it for the GCMS and CAIPS? I only check my status on e-case (CIC check my application status)
So is GCMS and CAIPS different? if so Pls what's the links and how can I registered?

I clearly requested CIC to provide me with the meaning of 'assessed' and 'processed' - so as far as MI02/MI03 are concerned they will be assessed in 2013 - meaning eligibility review, completeness check, document request etc, but they will not necessarily be processed. Processing of 2008 -pre-June 2010 to its final stage/visa issuance is their priority in the next 12 months or so.

I think Pre-june 2010 applicants were luckier than MI-2 and MI-3 coz almost 90% of them got MR when they completed / about to complete 2 years and after that due to Buffalo-Ottawa tranfer, they got late to get PPR. All other applicants applied after june 2010, already completed 2 and a half years and still waiting for MR. I wonder when they ll get some update and then another 6 months for PPR. This is redicluous. It means they have to wait till next year end. And, Ottawa still processing pre-june 2010 app. It sucks. They dont have any plan. I have not seen any single person except nadeem, who heard anything from Ottawa. At least, they can start processing MI-2 and MI-3 alongwith clearing backlog. >:(

Horaaaaaaaaaaay,,

I think Marmar's post above just proves the last few posts wrong. As you can see Marmar is a post June 2010 applicant and he has received his PPR. I'm guessing post june 2010 is MI-02? So if everyone reads the grey highlighted section with a red border on the Ottawa page in the FAQ's section....it states, to meet current labour demands they will be processing both.....BUT MI-01 as it was a broad MI, will take longer to process in some cases.

He has job offer, just like Nadeem, those who have job offer have faster process in comparison to those who dose not. This is what my MP said.
