What were you expecting to hear from the MP? You have clearly seen their timetable, and even if we assume/hope they follow it to the letter, you would still not expect to hear anything now.

Well, in Dec 2012 he said something should happen end of Feb 2013, or CIC told him that, something should happen end of Feb, also i have seen this info for some other guys in the forum.
So i was expecting after 2 years waiting that would be reasonable to issue a MR ...

what timelines are you referring to ? they are "reviewing" my case for the past 2 years ...

There is new rule imposed starting today to those who will apply under FSW with AEO...good for those who are already in Canada and working at the same employer starting May 4, 2013.

Hopefully Ottawa will put the current files in their office on priority and finalized all backlog as what they said by the end of summer this year before they process new applications that will be for sure doubled or tripled the quantity of applicants that will submitt their applications by the new rules. :)

Here is timeline, nothing has been changed since last June. As far as I know, a lot of applicants has been approved even if they handled in the medical after last May. Is there anything I can do ?

We received your application for permanent residence on May 25, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on November 1, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Case Processing Centre Ottawa office. They are pending review.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on April 23, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

I've seen some post and read at this forum that there should had something happened at the end of Feb. this year, yet there wasn't that much for FSW. I think there were some confusion with some of the response of MP's to some applicants here. As what we can see at the update of CIC website yesterday there are visas being issued for the principal applicants where applications were received before Sept. 1 2011 under PNP---not for us FSW as ours are still for assessment this year. Who knows, nothing applicants can do but to play the waiting game!! :'(

Where this info come from?...

Dear Fellow applicants,

I need a suggestion...

I had applied for FSW December 2010 in AEO category got my PER in March 2011. Then in december 2011, I left canada for another country, as i had no news from CIC and my work permit was expiring with no hope of renewing. I had send letter to buffalo saying Im leaving the country..but seems they have no received it.

In august 2012 i applied for CEC.

Now on 7th march 2013 my lawyer received an email from Ottawa pilot asking me to pay RPRF for my FSW application. I am not sure what to do.As I'm pretty sure AEO category only gets final approval if my work permit is valid at the time of permanent residency visa...am I correct?

what Do you guys suggest...

Need immediate help and suggestions.

Thanks,

DJ

Is any of you/your friends applied for Bridging Work permit to Ottawa-CPP? I am wondering if it takes the same 2+ months as usual or not.
Thanks!

Since I have to deposit RPRF to New York office .Instruction from New York says that I have to deposit $490 to Consulate General of Canada and write my application number at the back of check. Then it says for more information on RPRF check their website.
I have checked on their website but just want to check with you guys.Is there anything else I need to do as far as RPRF fee is concerned other than what I have mentioned above?

I think that's it. Just make sure to indicate your file number when you order your casheir check or money order.
Thanks

Thanks once again,

I see CAIPS written next to the file number .I am not sure if I should write CAIPS with the number or not.

What do u think?

As per me it does not make any sense

When I sent my RPRF, I just mentioned my file number and they quickly cashed it. So i think that should be sufficient. In case you want to mention some additional things, just ask the officers in bank for that. They have a separate section for comment, where they can indicate your concern while making cashier's check or draft, but I don't think they are necessary.

Hi doc, relex bro

We are all here to share our views and thoughts and if they did say something that wasn't accurate, its not the end of the world. We are normal people and not immigration lawyers here. Everyone makes mistakes.

ok they got me - i will go for CEC, lawyer and MP said it will be assessed this year, but about the MR and PPR it can be ... sometimes, anytime ... so you can expect to be still at the same point in 2014.

let's go for CEC !
