Buffalo to Ottawa Transferred Cases(FSW) - Pls join here

Hi folks,
My wife and I sent our initial application to Sydney NS in May 2010. Got approval after ~5 months in October 2010. Mailed all supporting documents in Feb 2011. we got the medical forms in the mail on May 12, 2012. Finished medical exam on May 28, 2012, RPR Fee was sent couple day before buffalo office shut down. and finally FBI report was sent in late June and was in Ottawa early July 2012. I tried to check my status online several times and nothing shows up. Sent three email( one each month ) to get update from Ottawa, no reply from their side. Have no idea even if they have started processing or not. This was my story ;D

congratz .. most likely ull get ur ppr in an average of 4 months ur lucky if its earlier. happy waiting

So that means I got the med results received in June 2012 then I have to wait till October to get the PPR? I am FSW1 and got transferred from Buffalo....

yeah that is what my rep told me to wait for atleast 120 days to receive ppr., you should be good coz its already october.

Its been more then 5 months after my Medicals now and they even don't bother to acknowledge my Medicals receipt . PPR is way far. Anyone with similar situation??

I send them several emails but they even didn't replied the single one. However, I have the confirmation that the medical result was signed by someone over there. Why aren't they updating till 5 months? How long they want us to wait..forever??...... frustrating

Hi CyTric,

Have you ordered a GCMS note? Maybe your medical exam is already passed! I have a friend, his medical was already passed based on the GCMS note, but on the CIC ecas it was not even received.

The visa office does not always give updated information to CIC. That's why sometimes the ecas is several months outdated and even shows "IN PROCESS" when my friend finished landing.

We almost have the same timeline. Do you have that updated line "Medical result received" in your eCAS?? I believe that should come first before PPR and most folks have that line within 1-2 months after medical results are delivered. I am afraid since I don't have that updated line to assure myself.

I hope that be the case. However, I haven't applied to GCMS note yet. Do I need to be physically in Canada to order one? I am in US? Any ideas??

I know my meds have been received cause my MP called CIC and they said that
Meds have been completed and good until march 2013
security clearance completed
background check completed

he said that my case should be put to bed before Jan 2013

so thats keeping me relaxed I beleive your case is in the same pile as mine just waiting for someone to handle it in ottawa
