call back from MP, some actions are expected end of Feb, what actions ? nobody is able to say, but it should move.

i would bet that the timer is reset to 0 for my files (and all files arrived to Ottawa), and they are going to process this in 8 months, so that the numbers look good in the stats ... (my optimistic guess)

Are u saying that your MP gave you call to inform you about your file,if that is so then didn't he specify what action will be taken by the end of Feb?.

It looks like that something will definitely start happening in Feb because Ottawa is giving same answer to all the MP"s and I do not think that Ottawa can afford to lie to MP's so keep your fingers crossed as Feb is not too far.

just got an email from Ottawa regarding Request for further information. Personal History EXXXXXXXX They asked me to fill up IMM5669E.pdf the form.
This is the email which I got from Ottawa a moment ago:

Dear Mr. Ur-Rehman

Before we can continue processing your application we require all of your Personal History details for the last ten years. You have submitted an IMM 5669 Schedule A indicating Personal History from 2005. If you require additional space please afix a seperate word document and maintain the same format.

Please send this information via email ASAP so that we may avoid further delays.

yes i asked him to do a follow up, calling him every 3 months, he said try again end of March, something should happen, and the agent was of course vague enough about this "action", i am suspecting it means we will start to look at your file.

definitely, something will happen end of Feb, if not i will have to go for CEC

I was asked to submit updated forms along with my MR last month. I filled a reference no document (like "Please refer to Document XXX) in actual form and as an addendum submitted that history as "Form No XXX-X, Question #XX" and submitted in same tabular format. It worked when I submitted to Sydney (CIO) almost 3 yrs back, and I submitted exactly the same way to Ottawa.

what they are saying is that they need it for the last 10 years they say you sent on 5 years
wont hurt to send it again and make sure it starts from 2002 or earlier if you can

there is no win in arguing with them

yes I got MR last Nov 18th and medicals passed reflected in e-case. no news till now...
as my wife's passport is expiring I got a new one and sent a copy to Ottawa...no acknowledgement for that too...

salut tout le monde , je suis tombé par hazar sur ce site et jaimerais bien partager mon cas avec vous et voir vos differents avis ; moi jai deposeé ma demade depuis la fin de 2010 et ils l'ont recu en fevrier 2011 a buffalo et apres le transfert a ottawa j'ai pas eu de nouvelles ... Quand je verifis sur internet je trouve que c'est en cours , ca fait 2 presque 2 ans et toujours pas de reponse

Ottawa is requesting state police certificate from the US state (province) where I currently reside. Do you know how long does it take? They have given 60 days.
