Buffalo to Ottawa Transferred Cases(FSW) - Pls join here

I agree with you that Ottawa has not even opened some of the boxes (LITERALLY Of course!!!)
There is nothing in my CAIPS notes (which I received a week ago) about the processing my application in OTTAWA or somewhere else than Buffalo!!!!
I do not not agree with the statement as Ottawa is processing the applications based on the date they were received; as there are examples of applicants receiving PPR but applied much later than other applicants!

Not yet my friend. I am afraid of more disappointment. Anything is possible with these awkward system, so I decide just to wait. What about you??

I think some boxies were lost inbetween buffalo and Ottawa during the transfer, sounds feb and march files Were In one of these lost boxies ( just kidding)

That because most of us feb march applicants did not get an update ??? Pls forgive me it is just a joke

But really it is annoying that they are
not updating us (feb -march o10 applicants )and many applicants after feb/march 010 got ppr
Any one has an idea or a guess !! To explain what is going on with Ottawa office ???

a few post are mentioning 4 to 8 weeks late to the process of your file, just by the fact it has been move to Ottawa ... we are going to be around 2.5 years of processing time ... not really encouraging

Hi,

My work permit will be coming to a end Feb 2013.
I am unable to get a extension on my work permit as my LMO has been rejected.
Will my application still be processed as I applied based on Arrange employment or will it be rejected?
In which case I will withdraw my current application and apply under Canadian Experience class as I do make the points.
Please Advise?

to my understanding, once you have lost your job for any reasons, your FSW2 is simply cancelled ...

Hi Kets,

One of the main requirement of FSW2 is you workpermit should be valid at the time of application and also at the time when they grant you PR.

I would suggest you to still try for LMO to keep your workpermit extended.

Request your HR to advertise again (both in Jobbank.gc.ca & in Local Newspapers) & make the LMO officer satisfied. You will surely get positive.

On the other hand, if you have complete 2 full years of canadina exp, you are eligible to apply under CEC. Go for it. Do not wait for FSW2 PR.

FINALLY THE CPP-Ottawa Responded to email which was send last July 11, 2012 and got the response Oct. 02, 2012 just to say that they have my application... ;D

FROM CPP-O:

"Good morning, This is in response to your email. Your application is with our office, and is currently in queue for further processing. No further action is required from you at this time. We thank you for your patience." :'( ???

Applied in may 2010 under fsw buffalo VO.file transferred to ottawa and I received ppr from ottawa.completed visa stamping in detroit and landed yesterday.

received ppr in oct 1st week.
Sent ppt to detroit and completed landing.

I applied may , 2012
medical request from buffalo April 18, 2012
In porcess April 13, 2012
Medical done May 02,2012
No update from Ottawa CPP-OP, expect they change the line of "document recived by buffalo... to recived by Ottawa" and no date on recieving
They change "In Process" from April 13, 2012 to April 18, 2012. I have print of both cases.
"Medical Results has been recieved" showed up in two weeks then disapreaed since May 2012.
Ottawa Health section sent me medical furthance on June 2012, and I sent what they want in Septmber 04.
No update from both Ottawa health section and Ottawa CPP-OP.

I donot know what is my current statues
