It's been just over a month since I've completed my medicals and still no news from CIC regarding PPR. Is this normal? From what I've seen on here most people get their PPR at or just after 3 weeks.

Received my PPR today!!! Does anyone know how long it takes to receive my passport back once CIC receives it?

very nice congrats man as per forum it taking 3 weeks what your ecase showing. mine is medical received and 4 line decision made,i have send my passport on 13 august 2013. received by cic ottawa on 16 august 2013. thanks

Congrates to all who got their PR. Based on my analysis, cic is working to complete all MI2/3 people who applied after june26, 2010. Sadly, Very limited visas were issued to MI1.. This is maching what they have said about advancing MI2/3 over MI1, see CPP ottwa page that provides frequently asked questions. Therefore, for us as MI1 may need to wait longer (2014) or longer consider strick and further possible delays.

My case is unique as one of my dependent lived in another country more than 6 month after application was submitted. I think that's why they needs an update

That is true. BTW why did you do you medical exam since you sent it on July 10th?

and I think ottawa are focusing on FSW2 and FSW3 now. Maybe after finishiing FSW2&3 then begin FSW1

For the people who are asking how long you need to wait for medical request after sending documents, in my case it's 3 weeks... I sent it June 29 and receive medicals July 23 together with RPRF and photocopy of passports

I paid my RPRF thru online and my visa officer is SN6164

Hi All, as I see some people here, with timelines similar or later than mine, got alrerady some action going on (At least Meds request).
I haven't gotten any feedback since the file had been transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa last yr. Is this something to worry about?

When i got in touch with Ottawa, the response included FID6939239 as a reference in the subject of the email. anyone knows what that refers to?

okey khokharzee.. i'll update everyone if ever i will receive my PPR.. but hopefully we will get it soon my work permit is expiring in feb 2014 im not sure if i will apply for an OPEN work permit

It would be ridiculous if they're planning to finish all FSW2 first.
We have not seen any progress with FSW1-2011 other than two guys, one of them has a job offer.
