definitely, it's a long frustrated wait, well, I sent email at Aug-10 and got reply at Aug-14

Now I think we should stop asking from Ottawa for another month sick of this wait.

Just a quick note on making a phone call to the Call Centre (1-888-242‑2100):
They did not provide me with any information. They say that CPP-Ottawa is considered an "out of canada" visa office.

So, only options are the fax and the e-mail....

Has anyone had any luck with the call centre?

The frustrating part is Ottawa's mouth is completely shut - Absolute silence!! Am going to start the ground work for CEC. But sad thing is CEC too is getting delayed due to this file stack in ottawa!

I'll only believe it when I see medical request, until then I will continue to be frustrated!!!!

Also that particular French guys forum is for Quebec provicial nominee applied for Fedral. So obvisiously they get faster because they do not have background checks.

I read somewhere in the forum, if you are provicial nominee, you will not screened for Background check, as it has been already done during PNP.

Any opinions?

Yes PNP applicants get their medical fast,i.e within 2 months as one of my friend got the medical...
so its different than us..

I'm on the same boat. I applied on Dec 24th 2012 and haven't heard anything from Buffalo/Ottawa since the AOR in April 2011.

I'm already getting all the paperwork for CEC. I've been working in Canada for over 3 years now, after completing a 1 year postgrad degree. It's ridiculous that I still have to wait and apply via a different class. I wonder if they just do this so that people have to spend an extra $500. Such a deficient system...

First "justtheme" has to get some good news since he applied in dec 2010.

Then "nadeem" , cause he applied in april 2011

then me, i applied in aug 2011.

All guys please fit yourself in the list.

Anybody applied before dec 2010, working in canada? have got medicals?
