Buffalo Processing Time - please help

Hi

We are trying to be patient but are starting to worry - does anyone have any idea how long our application should be
Below is the timeline they have given us. Should we email Buffalo???

We received your application for permanent residence on May 28, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July 29, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Buffalo office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the Buffalo office on August 5, 2009. The Buffalo office may contact you.

i am on the same boat , the buffalo office received my application in June 2009. The status is still "received by Visa office" after almost a year.

On their website , if i check the processing times --,
Processing Times at buffalo office are -
30% of cases finalized in:6 months
(months) 50% of cases finalized in: 6 months
(months) 70% of cases finalized in:8 months
(months) 80% of cases finalized in:8 months

i am worried now what to do , guys please share your timelines if you read this message.

Do you know when the timeline starts when it was received by nova scotia or by buffalo

is it possible to send same application to 2 different offices....buffalo is doing nothing...is it possible tht we can send app to home country office without withdrawing buffalo application
