HOPEFULLY Buffalo office doesn't move too fast...

We need at least one year before we were planning to land in Canada and then, if possible, postpone another two years before we permanently move to Canada (ideally, we would land, then come back, settle things here, finish studies, take care of transfer of business operations, apply for jobs in Canada, attend interviews, get job offers, rent a place to live and THEN take everything and go).

We understand , though, that what we plan is not how things may turn out. If we get stamped passports tomorrow and Canada issues a new regulation with "It's either right now or never", we will just go with it and be grateful that we weren't rejected.

However, if it was our choice, i would say: "Buffalo, please do not process our apps too fast, please!".

Hope Buffalo processes fast!! Why would you apply if you're not prepared? So for being rude but, WHAT THE HELL?

Don't get upset, they won't process slower just because i say i hope they processed slower. They just as well won't process cases faster, no matter how much you wish they did. It's just a process that has a pace of its' own. The less anxious you are about it - the better chances that the time will fly fast and you will get the decision before you know it.

We applied when we did because there was the window, it was like a lightning bolt ,when CIC issued new guidelines with 29 occupations we said "this is not going to happen twice!" and submitted all paperwork within given time frames. And, it seems, we did right thing: there are already proposals in work which will further change FSW program. So , we couldn't apply before and we won't be able to apply after.

When you have to do things you do them. We did our part. And will do once again (if all approved now and MUST go now, will go).
It's just a matter of convenience , to do things on your own schedule, take care of all the things you have to (grad. studies, expansion of business and establishing new ties to North, getting the job offers and moving only after , instead of depleting savings and plunging in without any on the ground preparation and etc.)
But we understand that we have little choice.

Take it easy!

this is incredible, CIC did what we wished it to do back in March 2011, it wasn't until March 2012 that we were done with medicals.
Now, once again I want to make a wish - CIC , please do not delay our applications any longer, let it be positively decided as soon as possible :)

Hope my wish comes true this time as it did before :)
