Hi Professional1 ,

I am applying under 4131 category . I have total 8 years of experience and out of which 6 years in IT(2174)
and 23 months as Company Trainer(4131) . I believe this qualifies me for applying under the 4131 category . Since , 2174 is in Skill A I believe I can also count my IT experience when considering my total experience . Please confirm my understanding .

Thanks a bunch again ...
Regarding your experience in NOC 4131, yes you can apply based on that one under FSW 1, but they are not going to count your years of experience under 2174 even if it is skill level "A" because it is not included in the 38 list of jobs. Only FSW 2 & FSW 3 can count the number of their years of experience that fall under level A, B, OR 0 regardless of whether they belong to the 38 list of job or not.

Cool...
I was not sure so I did not add my experience for 2174. But I was confused about why they have such list.... thanks for explanation...

Hi!

I am an Indian citizen in US since last 6 months on an L1. I am planning to apply for Canadian PR by myself. I read somewhere that in order to be able to choose Buffalo as the visa office, I should have spent at least 1 year in US. Is this correct? If yes then, can I still send across the initial application to Sydney office now or do I need to wait till December 2010 for that? Kindly help me out.

The condition here is to be admitted at least for one your in the country, in order for you to be eligible for applying to the visa office serving that country.

To be admitted to a country for one year does not mean that you have to spend one year to apply. Simply, you will have to show them that you have an authorization to stay legally in that country for one year, OR you have spent one year legally in that country.

Therefore, if you have a legal document shows that you are admitted to the USA for one year, go for it and apply now, do not waste any time waiting to spend that one year.

Good luck.

Bio data page is the page of your passport containing your picture and information such as; name, DOP, issuance date, expiry date,....etc. usually all of this information comes in the first page, but if they are in more than one page, you will have to photocopy all of them and send them with your application.

If you are going to use your US mailing address for the correspondence with the visa office, just write it twice in english in a white plain paper one at the top, and the other at the bottom using "MS.word", let us say font size 14.

They just want applicants who are using their country of nationality mailing address to write the address one in english and the other in their native languages to make it easier and clear for the mail to be delivered to the right mail box showing the address with the local national language on the envelops.

Good luck.

Good luck.

No, in this case you will have to write it one in English and the other in your native language as you write it in your country.

Anyway, most likely they are going to send you the approval letter by email, but still we have to comply with their instructions as required.

Hello,

I need some clarification on sending my documents to Buffalo. This is my first step in the initial filing. In the document check list, section 12 (other document). For the visa office specific document check list, do I need to send all the document specified by the visa office now or is it later once I get the acceptance.

Please advice.

Thanks,

Rahul.

I think you need to send the aplication first to CIO, Sydney Nova Scotia, canada.
Once your NOC is approved then you need to send to visa office.

- If you have opton, do not choose Buffalo CIC office, this is the most slow/dull office

If you are from India, choos CHC New Delhi
I made misake choose Buffalo (sent my full docs to buffalo July 2009) till today those crap good for nothin are sitting on my application.. .. biggest useless CIC I feel is buffaloluck

Good luck
