We have been 'in process" since June 2010. Our medicals will expire in mid-February.
Our application has been delayed because of problems obtaining a Mexican federal police clearance. We have no idea when we'll obtain it, but my feeling is that the chances of it getting to CIC Buffalo before the medicals expire are slim to none.
I do not want to finish waiting all these months for the police certificate only to be asked to obtain new medicals and then wait more for the new medicals to get to Buffalo.
I did some searching here to try to figure out if it's a good idea to just get the medicals redone prior to being asked for them. The responses I saw seemed to say that it depends on your particular visa office.
What is the case with Buffalo? Should we get the medicals in advance of them expiring? Or is CIC Buffalo one of the offices that does not require that recently expired medicals be redone? Thanks.
