Here's the answer I got this afternoon:

Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete.

Canadian Consulate General Buffalo

So, I still have no idea when they got the application, but I'm assuming since they said I'm in process they have it. Maybe one day Ecas will say something other than "Application Received"

hey congrats finally you are in process. It means no AOR but u straight went to in process.

I am checking mine too regularly. Can you tell when did ecas updated. I mean which day.

Hi guys. I got my PPR yesterday. I was so surprised. When I saw the letter come through I groaned thinking they were contacting me because they wanted something else for the application. Hope everyone else goes just as fast.

SO BASICALLY I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE TIMELINE FROM AOR TO PPR.

Hello all,

Finally I received my AOR from buffalo today after 2 months and 2 days from file got transferred to buffalo from Mississauga. Little relief that they have my file. I was assuming they have lost it somewhere. I didn't see anybody got so long to receive AOR.

Now next step is ecas showing in process. How long that will take no idea..


Share ur experience and timeline in getting process after receiving AOR from buffalo.

Unfortunately it widely varies. I don't really think there is an accurate timeline. Some people have been waiting over a year. Others receive PPR in 6 months total.
