Congrats to those who have brought good news to this forum, it is a lot to most of us.

I am getting confused that I see some ppl mentioning their file transferred to Ottawa. Is this transfer from Buffalo (after its closure) or from other VOs? If it is the later, case how do they know that?

FYI: my file was transferred to LA visa office when buffalo was closed, and my impression is that it is still there.

Please help me understand ?

The file transfers are to ottawa after the closure of Buffalo! Your file shall remain in LA.. How long has it been since it has been at LA?

Question where do i find my AOR date on my GCMS notes?

Why do you need your GCMS to find AOR date? Its the date when you received email from ottawa that they have received your file and issue a file number.

I got my notes today...

Its printed on Sept 14, and the due dates were Sept 16 ! (bad luck!)
like most of you, We are also a July 7 Transfer

and in a glance,
Criminality: in Progress
Security: not started
Meds: Passed
Eligibility: Passed

Meds Valid to 26 Sept 2012

Secondary VO: Ottawa!

Crim - In Progress doesnt mean much. Your eligiblity is passed, thats the most important thing. Group Name, whats that and any important NOTES?

Is your updated date july 7th? If so, he file hasnt been reviewed at Ottawa yet. The due date is 1 year from AOR, like all of us! However, it shouldnt be long

For someone who has received PPR, if they order GCMS right now, it might still say In Progress. When eligibility is passed, that ensures all your checks are completed - including Criminality! I know people say my checks are going on thats why I havent gotten PPR. All I am trying to say is, yes you cant get ppr before criminality is done, but done get hung on in progress. Its as simple as someone hasnt updated your file.

In Progress - isnt a good indication!
