my wife did her medical in advance alst year before Buffalo asked her ---she did her medicals on 26 July 2011---so her expired---but they pverall medical expired for both of us ---

But in notes VO wrote ; " backgroud checks and Medical extensions are apparently only two thing required "

so they might extend medicals

I am in same boat. did medicals in advance so they are expired now.....

seems like they are extending the medicals, so thats good news

It's been 34 days since I ordered my GCMS notes (Aug 23rd) and I still haven't received anything...Has this happened to anybody before?

I sent my CEC application on March 10th, 2011 to the Buffalo office. Here is my latest status:

We received your application for permanent residence on March 10, 2011.
We started processing your application on September 2, 2011.

The last thing I heard from them was RCMP Request on 9/9/2011 and I sent it sometime on October, 2011. I sent an email requesting the status of my application on May 10th, 2012 and got a response on May 14th, 2012 as follow:
Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete.

So I'm worried right now since my PGWP is expiring on March 2013, what should I do?

you may request gcms notes if you are inland

don not no why it takes much long for most of 2011 applicants

yep I think 3-6 months is the normal timeline...

Buffalo used to set to IN PROCESS when all the checks were complete. So then it usually took about a month or less to get PPR.

With Ottawa, when officer is assigned, usually they set to IN PROCESS.

my friend had a similar case. they asked her for police certificates and same day it went to in process. She is still waiting for PPR after sending the documents 2 months back.

I just got a request for police clearance that I did not submit before...

Does anyone has any Idea if I send this stuff in coming when should I expect to get the PP request??Thanks for ur help...

What is your timeline and when did your file got transferred to Ottawa? December 26 is the due date. So, it seems ottawa is giving 3 months

Received GCMS notes today

Eligibility : passed
Criminality : passed
Medical: passed but expired
Visa officer assigned now, in my last GCMS no visa officer was assigned
Dua Date: 25 August,2012
Secondary Visa office : Detriot
Secondary Visa office created Date is : August 25 2010( I think they mistakenly put 2010 it should be 2012)

In notes it says that I (VO) didnt receive address of brother in law of PA (principle applicant) which was requested on 26 july, waiting to process PA and spouse BG checks....

I already sent them address 3 times -----they requestd me on 26 August and then i sent them ---again they requested me on 16 August and I sent them ---3 rd time the requested me same information on 11 Sept and i sent them again. id ont whts problem with them .......


By the way I noticed that whenever I emailed them after 26 July 2012 (date when file went in process) my email was responded by VO assigned) -----I noticed this from VO code Fm000XXX same in Visa officer assigned portion and in notes where email responses are mentioned ----that new thing for me that VO replying-----in one NOtes VISa officer wrote ----Today PA asked me Status of his file and responded him as follow---he pasted thr same email which he wrote me -------

Giving your personal information for something thats not even accurate and does not correlate to anything significant .. Doesnt look attractive to me!
