I got my second AOR today from Buffalo :) Full package of docs was delivered in January :)

Hi Tajik,

Congrats first.
What's your timeline in detail? Are you the post-June26 applicant?

I am the pre-June26 applciant. I haven't got my 2nd AoR by now. I sent my complete package at the end of December 2010.

I've check my Ecas and now it is 'In process'.
I am not sure if it was changed today or some day in last week.
(I havent check the status for about a week, it used to be RBVO)

THe thing is....
My nationality was entered wrong.
I am from South Korea, and it shows as North Korea),

Well... talking about the nationality,

I took about a year to figure out that they made mistake in my E-cas.
( I tried to access to my profile with all the weird ways of saying my name, lol, but it tured out that my place of birth was entered wrong in that system)

I emailed them to correct it but still I am a North Korean in E-cas.
I did get my study permit from CIC as South Korean and I got my 2nd AOR with no problem, so I dont think they have problem with my file,
it is just the Ecase profile is wrong...
But you can imagine how weird it feel to see your file says you are from some other country,
especially the one has the international bad name.
(but I have warm heart for North Korean 'people' themselves, as we are brothers or used to be)

They are processing my file, so I guess no harm done so far, though.

I got at least one good news :)

My 2nd AOR was recieved Nov 2, 2010.

Good luck everyone.

Cheers,

Disco

17 monts are not for medical but for whole process counting from file transferred to VO.
Me , you and Parkoni have same time frame.
Do you have any idea if any one in this forum got processed who filed to sydney in feb 2010 and their files transferred to Buffalo Mar/Aprl

Thanks

S

all you guys have same date? 24th March 2010. Mine is exactly the same. That means they transfer files in groups then.

This is awesome. I'm so frustrated that I'm actually laughing now. THEY INCREASED THE PROCESSING TIME TO ANOTHER 2 MONTHS. It's 19 months now at Buffalo instead of 17. Not to mention, it was 15 months when i sent my documents. Not going good (not to be a pessimistic here). so after 3 months, it'll become 21 months? I guess nothing we can do about it.

I feel like an ass with CIC riding on me with my passport tied to a fishing rod hanging in front of my face making me follow it.

Congratulations for inprocess disco1004 :)
does it say the processing date or same as RBVO details
hope they will correct ur Nationality soon :D

My status was changed to 'In process' but the description was not updated :(
No processing date. Hopefully there will be some progress this week!

It is almost the time to receive my CAIPS note, I applied for it about a month ago.
I will keep you updated!

Good luck.

First I want to say, I am a Canadian, not a PR or somebody applying for PR.

I am shocked as to how poorly the Canadian government operates its immigration processing. I am shamed to be a Canadian regarding this.

My wife's application was received august 30 2009. She did her medicals and paid 550 right to land fee in December 2010...we have not heard anything since. E-CAS has not updated since October of 2010. She applied applied alone as we were not yet married when she sent in her application. In hindsight, I wish she had applied as a common-law partner for me as it would have been done a year ago. This FSW program is a load of shit, I have never seen such a poorly managed program in all my life. I have written my Member of Parliament regarding it, I have written my provincial director of immigration, and I have written the federal minister of immigration as well.

I HOPE changes come soon, for the sake of all of you who are in the same situation as my wife.

Thank you Anon for your worth observation and timely concern. I hope your effort will call the attention of all concerned and work for the improvement of the system.

I wish also that this will expedite the processing of your wife's application.

Regards and good luck to all of us.

Hi, AspitantCanada

I ordered/applied for the CAIPS note by myself with the help of the links in the internet and I am in Canada currently.

If you are not in Canada, try to read the link below.

http://www.immigration.ca/discussion2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10644

Also, there are the chodes to use when interpreting the CAIPS note.

You received the 2nd AOR only two days later than me.

I am sure your status will be changed to 'In process' very soon.

Good luck!

Disco

Hi friends in waiting game,

I finally received my CAIPS from buffalo today, since I waited for disclosure for more than 2 months, information there is on March 31.
Just couple lines:
12 oct 2010 - file number change
12 oct 2010 RCMP name check, 13 oct - No Record from rcmp
EZ - 13 oct 2010
EDR 18 oct 2010
Paper file sent to PA
BF file to: PPS on 13-04-2011

Any ideas on what those scriptures mean?)
