Hi c3373555,

well,3 categories under FSW

Category 1: For persons in an occupation which corresponds to the list of occupations identified in the Ministerial Instructions and
have evidence of one year of continuous full-time(or full-time equivalent) experience in that occupation;

Category 2: For persons who have arranged employment offer with a Canadian employer;

Category 3: For students or workers who are legally residing in Canada,and have done so for at least 12 months immediately before
submitting their application (but this category 3 was removed post 26 june 2010 )

This is the current rule: only two FSW categories
For your application to be eligible for processing, you must:

include the results of your official language proficiency test, AND
have a valid offer of arranged employment, OR
have one year of continuous full-time paid work experience in at least one of the occupations listed here.

Re: HOWEVER!

@winnycanada - Some cases have impressive timelines based on their NOC and nationality.

Hi gauravbt,

Congratulations for the status update to inprocess :)
I think its better to wait for 3 months and in the mean time,if u don't receive any update from the VO,u can go for CAIPS.
At least ur file is moving....so don't worry abt the B'FD.

Congrats gauravbt! My e-cas was updated to In Process too last Tuesday :D

I already ordered CAIPS before my e-cas was updated coz I've been worried right. I will get my CAIPS on second week of April and since we almost have the same timeline, maybe you can map your BFD from mine...

So I will take Pearl advice for now to wait for few months before ordering one ;)

Keep us posted!

So how much roughly the waiting time is after 2nd AOR.

Or it depends upon other factors like

1).File transferred to visa office
2).full documents submitted to VO.

As my AOR mentioned that files are deal in the priority they are recieved at visa office.

My file was transfered to Buffalo in April 2010 as mentioned below the 2nd AOR ( acknldge/apr/2010) and ecas staus shows as well the file was transferred to buffalo on April 12th.

Though 2nd AOR was issued on OCT 26 2010.

Any comments ....
