We had a baby after i sent my complete application. Now is it mandatory to add her in my application process, is there any advantage adding American born in my application process?. The reason why I am asking this question is because I need to spend another $400 ($250 lawyer fee and $150 visa office fee) to add her now. Is it really required to add her now or I can wait until i receive some communication and add her later when i got my PR?

You must add ur baby coz u dont want trouble in future , i dont think so u will get benefit from her/ him

It is not mandatory but I would add her now. Even if you don't apply now, she may come with you when you get your PR and she will not require additional documents to enter Canada being born in US but she definitely will not be of any advantage in terms of your application process- conversely,there will inevitably be a delay in your process as you are reporting a change in your family size half way through your application.

Add the baby. If you dont add it is misrepresentation. I remember seeing in the application form that you have to declare all your dependants and if you get a child you MUST add the baby for making the baby eligible for PR.

I know a person who did not report, finally had to give up PR and return the homeland (even his appeal failed in the court).

I got my 2nd AOR in Nov 2, 2010.

Mine is not even ' received by V.O.'

My file is not in E-cas at all.

Difference between Delhi and Buffalo VOs

GCMS has been implemented and is Live at Delhi VO for the last few months which could be reason for Delhi VO to be back on wheels, whereas, at Buffalo VO its expected to go Live on 9 March, hopefully cases will start moving thereafter.

All - I checked and my status has changed to "In Process" probably yesterday or today.

c3373555 - Yes. All the seniors advised that I do it asap. Here is the note that I got from buffalo...pasted blow. If you have done it via a representative then I have no idea. I would think you always have the option to not go via your representative. 2 important takes form this mail is
1. I need to pay to bufallo and that can be in USD for $150. I made a cashiers cheque.
2. The old credit card application will not work.
3. The birth certificate clause is little confusing. As it mentions that "copies" of passport. I did not send the original.
4. If you send a query to buffalo, they do respond in < 3 days )))

processing fee for your child (if accompanying you to Canada)
your child’s birth certificate
copy of your child’s valid passport
3 recent photographs of your child
updated IMM0008 Generic for yourself and updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” form for yourself and your spouse.
a “Certificat de Sélection du Québec” for your child ( in his or her name), if you wish to immigrate to the province of Québec (http://www.micc.gouv.qc.ca/fr/index.asp)
Copies of the original documents with original certified translations into English or French are required. All documents must be sent by mail or fax (see fax number and address below).
Your child must undergo a medical examination. We will send you the appropriate form upon receipt of the documents listed above. Be aware that even non-accompanying dependants must undergo medical examinations.
