Hi Maha1981,
If you are already residing in Canada with legal status (like work permit/student permit) you
don't have to apply for US visa just to complete your PR landing. Once you cross the Canadian border to exit to the US side, the US immigration will give you a
REJECTION LETTER to enter US because you are there just to exit and turn around back to Canada to complete you Canadian PR landing and not to enter US. Kindly read my landing experience as I figured you will undergo in the same procedure and hopefully it will help.
Good luck and all the best!

Congrats to Anne and all others who have successfully crossed the line.
I am in a situation and want to seek the help of experts on this forum.
Like everyone else, I had been waiting for this process to complete and had been waiting forever for the MR. Come December of last year, and i got wedlocked
.....Yeah! a new chapter in life. While I was waiting for my Marriage registration certificate to inform CIC of my change of civil staus, they mailed out my MR (great timing!!!). I got my medicals done today but the DMP said she could not do my wife's medical because she doesn't have "Annexture A" (the actual form with a photo that CIC send with the MR). Can someone guide me as to how to proceed in this situation?
Also, if someone has the info, which forms will have to fill in on my wife's behalf to include her in my application?
I have already applied for her police certificates from all countries where she has stayed more than 6 months.
Any guidance would be of great help since I have 35 more days to send in the updated IMM008 etc (the DMP will send the medical results directly to cic on Tuesday).
Also, the DMP (here in India) said that she would send the medical results to Canadian Consulate in Delhi, (since that's where I presently am) while the letter sent along with my MR says the DMP should send the reports to Ottowa.
Should I request the DMP to send my reports to Ottowa?
The other question is,
should I send the updated forms (IMM0008 etc) directly to NY VO (that's where my file was transferred to).
If anyone who has been through this situation can provide guidance, I'll appreciate.
I am leaving for the US 2 day's after tomorrow so if I need to get my wife's medicals or request the DMP to send my reports to Ottowa, I will have to do it on Monday and hence quick inputs will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance $Dollar$
