BUFFALO AOR AUGUST-SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER 2010

I got police certificate request from NY office today. But they also asked for IELTS within 60 days. I provided a written proof instead of the test score when I submitted the full package in May 2010. I have a master degreee from a US university and worked 6 years in US.

I checked the IELTS website, there's no seat available for Jan or Feb. Even I registered now, Mar. 10 is the earliest date, so there's no way I could provide a score to them within 60 days. Any advise on this? Should i write a letter to them to explain and ask for an extension? Anyone knows the email of NYC office? You help will be appreciated.

Hey guys,

I hope you are having a good time. I recently contacted the member of parliament (MP) for my region and asked them to follow up on my case on my behalf. They just replied that Buffalo has told them my medicals have been issued and I should receive the forms in the next coming weeks.

I guess Buffalo visa office has started processing the files now. I hope everyone of you guys receives medical/ppr asap. I will let you know as soon as I receive the letter.

Hi guys, sharing happy news for me - today I got my passport request!

Got it by email, which was sent to my immi representative, so he forwarded it to me. Personally I didnt get email or any regular mail (yet).

So yeah, I was following this forum thread from page 1 till page 102, it took me 2 years.. happy now!

Good luck too all, your PPRs are on the way!

For reference my application was submitted to Buffalo and was processed there from beginning to the very end.
My e-cas still says IN PROCESS.

If ur ecas states that they started processing ur application and since when.I guess it usually takes few wks once they start processing application.

Any guess how long they take to issue medical once they say that we have started processing ur application.In my ecas staus they added that,they reviewed and started processing on 11 jan.

some people got in 15 days too
according to my knowledge 20 to 25 days is mixmum
you will get medical

Thanks, but the e-cas is till "In Process..." with RBVO details. The only interesting thing about my status is that it was RBVO till November 2011, and then it changed to "In Process..." with the same details. I am hoping to receive the forms in Feb 2012.

as for your questions:

again, my application was submitted to Buffalo Visa office and was processed there, no transfers.

My ecas changed to "we started processing your application on Oct 27, 2011" on oct 27, then in 2 weeks, on Nov 9 I got my med request by regular mail. My doctor sent my meds results on Nov 25th to Ottawa immigration center by express mail.

I got PPR by email on Jan 20, 2012, which is about 7 weeks after i submitted med results.

My ecas as for today is still "we started processing your application on Oct 27, 2011" with no further updates

You are a lucky guy. I saw in your signature that your application was filed in May 20, 2010. Is that mean you send your application to CIO in May 2010?

If so, as fas as I know many applicants, like me, with the similar application time as you, have not got any progress after RBVO. However, you even already got your PPR. Your application is processed really much faster than others. Do you know the reason?

Nobody know the reasons of Buffalo VO. Just wait and pray, I guess that is the secret.
My category is FSW1 independent immigration, yours is FSW3 as I understood, maybe that plays some role too.

I got misunderstanding of your signature. If you got 1st AoR from CIO in May 5, 2010 your processing timeline can still be regarded as the normal.
