no update for me.. started applying for LMO just in case PR doesnt come in time.

I got my 2nd AOR in the 1st week of November, the status is still shown as RBVO. I had sent my mailing address update to Buffalo VO. The new address was showing up on my status inquiry within 2 weeks of sending the updated address. So, I am hoping they are looking into the files even while the status is shown as RBVO :)

so if the file hasn't been transferred yet (for many of us october AORs) to other satellite offices, means it'll be processed at Buffalo?

I guess then tht means slow processing, since it's BUFFALO office with lot of other backlog items ???

Okay! I have come to this conclusion that NEW YORK VO IS OFFICIALLY GAY!!! ::)

The reason? Not just are they slow and lethargic but also..... well GAY! :D My file was transfered to NY somewhere in the middle of october last year and since then, I have written to them 3 times for a change of address. I changed my address when Buffalo still had my file. They changed the address promptly. Once my file got transferred to NY, e-cas reflects the old address again and now they @NY are too busy to update an address, I guess.

Well, the status is still "Receved by Visa Office", so NY is probably the slowest of them all. >:( But atleast the sukers can update my address.....writing to them again now.....zzzzZZZZZ

So how was everyone's New Year? :) There's something to cheer about 2011 YAY!

Cheers

Ok that LAST posting by Dollarguy 23 ---is OFFICIALLY IS THE MOST UNINTELLIGENT COMMENT!

what does Gay have to do with all the slow process. You either an ignorant biggot that should no even be considering to live in western word or just plain dumb! sorrry! I just wasted my time to write this! If you have that *censored word*ed up demeanor here in US or Canada - you will be out from your job in NO TIME...insensitivity in any form especially in expression of sexual harassment is considered a violation of good business conduct.. Take this as a good education. No hard feeling.

ericvirgo,

I have been employed/living in the western world long enough. I guess you haven't and hence you didn't get the 'lingo'.

"GAY" has nothing to do with sexuality. I went to college in the US and anything thats NOT RIGHT is GAY in the jagron.

No hard feelings either but a little research on your part could have saved your and my time aswell.

I just don't want us hijack to thread and we shall not continue this - if you want -please just PM me - For all others in the forum who have not been in living in the western/North America - this can be a good information.

My comment - I am not sure how does that feel to the Gay community, if all things are not right is considered "Gay".

If you are joking to 2-3 people in your closest circle of friends that may not be an issue

And yes, Gay is the widely used word for "same sex orientation". For all I know that nobody is using that jargon you quoted in the social, education & corporate world these days - that is considered insensitive.

In the Victorian poetry - gay word was used a lot to express the feeling of joy, Lively and Happy - but no one uses that word anymore these days - unless the context implicitly says so in a positive way.

Let's PM each other if you want to discuss this..

To all - sorry for taking the space on this off-track discussion..

Permanent Residence

We received your application for permanent residence on July, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July, 2010.

Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

What does it mean?

I got full documents letter in End of July 2010, and send within some days and My documents sent on : August 17th 2010 but still NO 2nd AOR, even nothing written or change in above message. nothing communication from Buffalo NY CHC.

I dont get any e-mail or letter by post that VO recieved documents, I just track my USPS parcel and I seen CHC Buffalo NY recieved it, but still NO AOR or nothing on E-case which people get update it frequently or no more request on any documents etc.

Why Buffalo CHC even still not issued 2nd AOR to me?
worried about my process.

My file submitted by me and my cousin he already in Canada 3 years ago. we never did mistake becasue my cousin have expertise to fill out forms he filled out forms for his brother and sister and all are in the canada with him last year. my points are also good , I calculate 76 points.
This process is delay or CIC website not working properly for E-case? I think they have some database link automaticaly send request to related File number? or CIC Website is just old dumped data? whats the behind website data and where its linked to get upto date data!!! we dont know I guess.....

@CanadaHome aka Mukund: Qorax had already replied to you in a different thread.

You will have to wait just like the rest of us. You may get your 2nd AOR around Feb 2011. The Medical request and other things will take its own time.

Current buffalo timelines are hideous. 2 AOR (~4-6 months), medical (~6-8 months), PPR (~4 months)

So no use getting hasty. Have patience. Good Luck.

Hi MC Boy
how u know after 2nd AOR medical (~6-8 months ) ? i received 2nd AOR on 12 th Oct 2010

I completely endorse your saying here. I was shocked by the way dollarguy was commenting in a public forum, just that I didn't respond. That attitude is best left behind before coming to Canada or the attitude will itself immediately take him back to wherever this kind of comment is enternained.

Thanks for your concern 13042010. I have been around enough to know where I belong and how to handle myself.

Good luck with your visa application.

@anuM. Watching the trends of ppl getting their medicals in this forum. Currently the ppl in line are from May/Jun. So as of now it is 6-8 months, which may change.

You are welcome Dollarguy. Good to know you have been around, I am sure you know it well just that I thought it didn't show in the comment but I could be wrong. Anyway, thanks and good luck with your application too.
