Hello,

Its almost 3 weeks since my medical reached Ottawa but I haven't heard anything from them. Is there any way to check my status?

Any clue how long it gonna take to get PPR??

I have sent a fax to LA regarding my papers and aahave asked them to recheck it. How will I know if they are going to look at it again?

Becksterd talk to your nearest MP. Some MP send email to direct VO and they will get standard reply. But some MP talk to ministry office and then ministry office will get the proper feedback from the VO in this way VO will really look into your file and give the reply to ministry. Before giving your details check which way they will choose.

I am also in the same boat like you, i also receive a same letter from buffalo and they requested a bank statement. My problem is that when i applied for PR then i was in canada and send bank statement from canadian bank and now a day i am in back home , and can i send bank staement of my home country bank because i ahve not enough funds in my canadian bank. Can i also change my mailing address right now. Because one of my friend send me letter which he recived from Buffalo. Your earlier response will be appreciated.

I done mine and my spouse medical in advance and when they ask for bank statement , on these forms they write that interview is waveid at this time and medical is alreday done.

Hi,

if you live in canada then u can go to any DMP and ask for medical, You only provide any proof, such as your visa office file number,any letter which they send you such as 2nd AOR. then they charge you a fee and send medical results to the Ottowa which is central office for medicals. then if your medical is clear and all is ok then they send your medical result to your visa office where you applied. Its very simple and straight forward. Dear no complication, only thing is matter here is that medical is only valid for 1 year and if your case not final in that period then you again go through this medical process.

Yes my address disappeared on Dec13 and never came back. So I guess your file is being reviewed when the address line is gone.

However my situation is a little complicated. My husband applied CEC before we get married. So we asked the office to combine our files after we get married in July. I do not know whether this has sped up or slown down the processing of my file.
