Thanks for opining this. It looks like no one sent to Bucharest VO Hopefully our applications should be processed quickly then.

I used the old application package.
Application submitted on Jan 10th 2017
Medical request Feb 1st 2017
PC request Feb 9th 2017

I have heard nothing since then.

Also, I sent to the VO to confirm they received the PC but they have not replied. Is that normal?

Our application was sent to Bucharest on Mar 20 and have not heard anything yet.

Hope our applications gets processed faster !

No I don't know and the visa office when they sent asking for the PC they mentioned that they won't confirm if they have received the PC or not to make a good use of existing resources. I have not heard anything from them since then.

I have indicated my timeline in a previous post:

In the PC request email they mentioned the following:
In order to make the best use of limited resources, this office will not confirm receipt of the items requested above. It is your responsibility to use a secure and reliable method for the delivery or transmission of all required items. You will be contacted when the processing of your application reaches the next stage.

I sent the PC by DHL on Feb 16th and sent an email requesting a confirmation, but as expected they did not reply. I have not heard anything since then.
I ordered the GCMS notes though to make sure that they have received it.

I am a november outland 2016 applicant, I hope I still can join your club? I didn't find anything for 2016

So my story we applied on 23.11
Meds done - 11.11
SA - 12.12, documents sent to the Bucharest VO
We were able to link my app on the cic website on the 28'th of January and since that day nithing has changed on the website

The meds are still not passed, so even if my hopes are high, I am still a very unpatient person
But good luck to everybody!

Welcome to the club!
Applications tends to take longer prior to Dec 07 2017 reform.

I suggest you contact your local MP to get to the bottom of it.

Hey, thank you for the warm welcome! Even if it's not a lot of us here I think this thread will be useful maybe for future applicants that have to deal with the Bucharest VO.

And no back to my case, we have considered getting the GCMS notes, to see what's going on and also I've heard that this sometimes fastens the process, not intirely sure if that is true

However guys I have a question about the notes that I want to ask you. My husband the sponsor is outside Canada and leaving with me until I get the visa... But from what I read to order the GCMS notes on my behalf he actually has to be in Canada? But since he is outside can he order the notes and use the address of a friend that is currently leaving in Canada? Will this work?

Or we have to make that friend as a representative for the notes? But from what I've read to do so he will have to prove that he is in Canada and even send them information from his bank account and me and my husband kind of feel uncomfortable to bother some of our friends with this.

Hello everyone .. glad to find some people applying through Bucharest VO.. we applied late November..SA received on Dec.29th and we didn't hear anything after that..Medicals already been done and sent.. Cant link my application Because we have a representative.. Do you think we will hear something soon?

Hey RM family!! Replied to you on the november thread but I think you didn't see it

I think we are both in the same situation, both applied in November and heard nothing ever since. Even though we were able to link my application, we did that on january 28, and since than it looks the same not one single letter has changed, so I don't know if it so useful to link the app and see nothing...

But we are considering getting the GCMS notes so we can have more detailed information, and I am sure that you can get that also or the representative can do it for you?

As for hearing something from them and especially the passport request I guess only time will show. Thought from reading on the forums having a straight forward case (marriage, not common in law, no dependants, no criminal activity or some sort of thing like this,) gets you a faster process.... And also I read an interesting thing, I am from Republic of Moldova and since this is a country that has a conflict inside the country even if it's let's say a frozen one, a country that has a higher rate of human traficking and also high corruption levels... So all this goodies get's them to look deeper into the case and I guess takes longer.... But as I said it's only from what I see on the forums and I for example really hope that the wait is not so long!

I looked in the forum and people say that you can order GCMS through http://www.caips.ca/ or http://gcmsnow.com/ if you reside outside of Canada.
