any ideias thank you

Ours was received in Mississauga on July 14. End of October: got the CSQ. So far Bucharest has received the file and the medicals but who knows when they will actually get cracking .... Just got the CAIPS notes but they are really not very informative, or maybe I just don't know what to look for. I mean, there is very little in plain English, just a few sentences here and there acknowledging the questions I emailed and the fact that we had a baby two months ago.

You are both lucky!!

The processing of your files was started and medicales was recieved, I would not say the same for me, I am still waiting to see an update on E-cas...we are in 8th February and still nothing..

My status on E-cas is: --We recived your application on 21 July--
--We start processing your fille on 12 October--
--We sent you a letter on 8 November about the decision made--
And for the permenent residence status is still the same:
--We recieved your application for the permenent residence on 21 July

Nothing else guys..please could you update your post when you have some news.

Thank you!
Multumesc mult! :)

E-cas is really unreliable -- I received a passport request via email on January 25th but e-cas does not reflect that at all. So do not only look at e-cas. I sent my passport, now waiting to receive it. It was insanely expensive to send it from Montreal to Bucharest and have a prepaid return -- we paid $220 with FedEx. Oh well. Almost unbelievable that this is all coming to an end. I know there were times when it just seemed so overwhelming ...

Yes, you are ablolutely right, sometime we are feeling that everything is overwhelming...but that comes to an end sooner or later. Sooner for you later for me... ;)

Sorry though for all the FedEx fees, but I guess it really dosen't metter after all, the reward is higher, having the visa after all this time, all the stress and anxiety at times; in my case will be differnt since I am in Romania at this moment waiting for my visa to be issued.

I will check my emails, my phone, my mail box...maybe, maybe get some news... :).

Congratulations for the visa!!

Happy for you!!

Best of wishes!
