Hi everyone
I'm planning for soft landing on November
Actually I'm confused about what to write in the list of things with me and things to follow, is that includes our kitchen stuff, laptop, cell phones?
I mean,,what type of things they usually charge for?

I'm interested to know as well.

The letter that came with the COPR has a section that covers this "Customs Rules and Importation of your Personal Belongings" and gave the website http://canadainternational.gc.ca

I have no luck navigating within the website to find out more about:

1. What can we bring / list
2. Does the list get entered into a database and a reference number is provided so that when we do ship our items that follow after our first landing, they are recognized and will not be subject to import duty
3. What sort of paperwork / official template for the inventory list.

But, in the CIC website (not the website given in the letter accompanying the COPR), I found useful information:
