Don't worry I guess it is a positive sign. Let them do background checks. I remember last year when I applied for my parents visit visa, VO took almost 3.5 months to process my dad's application. I did make an inquiry and was told we are waiting for background checks. I believe my father used to travel a lot thats why. But in end they my father was given visit visa for 10 years. Stay positive!

Hi congrats on the 10 years visa just want to ask if your passport expiration date is 10yrs? Just want to clarify if they give 10 yrs visa even the passport expiration is less than 10 yrs..like our passport expires after 5yrs only... thanks!

We are not sure but I think upto expirey date of your passport .
