i just checked status and my application for trv has been approved.

I am so thankful to this forum,all members and especially Bryanna who gave me direction and answer to each and every silly question.

How long did it take to get reply from CIC after your online application? as in day you submitted online and when they responded to you

i applied on 17th december and got PPR on 22th Dec.


it took only 4 business days

From which country where you applying from. Maybe country matters.

I applied from Southern Africa on 21 Dec and till now, there has been no reply. I wonder how long should wiat. training starts 15 Jan. I snet paper application to High Comm in Tanzania but they returned it to my country and said i send to VAC in Tanzania, which is not even listed on website.

A Uk visa takes less than 5 working days but canada awe sure!! unbelievable and yet am going for training and I have a very good job so i am not looking to go to canada to settle there, just training.
here in my country we give them visa at airport without problems but for us to travel just for 4 to 5 weeks...its something else...we have to struggle.
