I am a permanent resident in Canada since 16 May 2013,same

goes for my wife and son where both were permanent residents on the same day as well.

my wife and son stayed for 30 days in Toronto after landing, then they returned to Dubai

and stayed there till now, my wife works and she sponsors our son and 2

newly baby girls who don't have a PR cards.

I have the following questions please:

1- what is the complete procedure to sponsor our 2 daughters newly born ,please I need a check list of all the required documents to start the sponsorship, Can I start applying while i am outsise canada, then when I go there in few moths i can show them i am inside canada.how they can know whether i am in or out of canada when i apply for the sponsorship

2- Does my wife has to resign from her job before filing a temporarily residence permit, the embassy once said this so they know we are leaving for good to Canada, then they can issue the TRP.

3- shall we apply for TRV or TRP.please can you give a link to download the full required ,I mean i read there is not specific application for TRP, only document for TRV and in it you fill in the comments that you request ur application should be treated as TRP. is that right

.

4- I am afraid the TRV/TRP for the 2 daughters might take long time since we have a a non recognised travelling document,( Canada dont recognise some country's passport so they issue something called single journey travel document, where they put the visa on it if all other documents are in line)

,and if my wife dont enter Canada on 16 June she will violate the residecny

obligation, is there any way to expedite isseuing of the TRV/TRP visa for the 2 kids.

5- if the kids visa take long time, will this be enough excuse to show the immigration

officer why my wife has exceeded the residency obligation time outside of Canada.

Note: I have sent an email to case specific enquiry section in abu dhabi embassy since 2 weeks but no answer so far. they used to reply sooner what happen?

1) You have to wait until you are physically in Canada. You cannot file the sponsorship applications from outside of Canada. Use the following application process once you have arrived in Canada: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp
2) You can apply for the TRV for your daughters now. You don't have to wait for your wife to resign her job.
3) Apply for a TRV for your daughters first. If the TRV is refused, then try applying for a TRP. The TRV application process is here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/apply-how.asp
4) No - there is no way to expediate the TRV/TRPs. You should apply as soon as you can.
5) Long TRV/TRP processing times is not accepted as an excuse for not meeting the residency obligation. Having said that, if your wife re-enters Canada soon after June 16th, she shouldn't have any issues.

Thanks Scylla,

TRV requires prove of home ties for the visitors to return to home of origin..!, if I apply for TRV and inform them I am doing this to be able to Sponsor our daughters while they are in Canada for PR ,which might exceed the visit duration , I am confused.

is there a seperate specific application document for TRP,why not apply directly for TRP.

or do I have to apply for TRV and attach a paper explaining to consider this application for TRP so my wife and daughters can remain together in Canada while waiting for the PR sponsorship application to complete..!!

Please advise.

Scylla, i am trying to fill the trv application, I am filling it on behalf of my 2 newly born daughters,i dont see any where in the application where it tells that,if a family member or any representative is filling the paper,it asks a direct questions like i am the applicant him/herself.

the fields of travel history,education,employment....i think i will just fill it all with NOT APPLICABLE.
how about the question where it says what is the porpose of the travel, i selected OTHERS, then in the explanation box next to the question, shall i note down that i want my daughters to be with us while we apply for PR for them.

also what duration shall i note down ..!!
