I have my only brother back in the Philippines, he is a Registry nurse by Profession and have a work. He is working since he graduated 2010. He is well travelled. He went already to these places/country Hongkong, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Italy, London, Germany, Dubai, Abu dhabi ... to anme a fre for visit visa too. I am wondering why the Canadian Visa Office doesn’t give him visa here in canada. Hello!!!! He will not work here because he is working in a preatigious hospital and his life is in the Philippines but he just want to visit Canada and experience winter here. He has show money, work wvidence and all. Im wondering why? Is it because of his prpfession? He has contract work so itbis impossible for him to not go back. He cannot work as nurse herein Canada he knew how job in vanada is even if u ate medically professional

1. How many times has your brother been denied? When did he apply?

2. What were the reasons for the refusals for each application?

3. What documents did he submit?

4. How long did he want to visit? What exactly did he state as the purpose of his visit?

His profession is not the reason for the refusals. It is probably because he has not presented his purpose of visit + finances + his ties to the Philippines well

Is “employment prospects in country of residence and Canada” a checked reason in the refusal letter? I’m actually inclined to say his being a nurse is ONE reason, since many Filipinos used/abused the LIC immigration stream. His situation means he will have to work harder to present his ties to the Philippines.

You could be right about this.

I'm guessing 'Purpose of visit' could be another reason.... "wanting to visit to experience winter in Canada" may not seem convincing because he has visited other countries.

Maybe the OP should order GCMS notes

@figs can you please list his refusal reasons in the letter?
Do you mind if I ask which immigration stream you used to go to Canada? You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to. Perhaps they think your brother will want to do the same as you did.

Not enough reason that he will go back to Philippines despite having a very good job, showed capacity that he has enough money for his stay + free board lodging because he will stay with the Aunt. Also, he will visit for maximum of 2 weeks only because of his job requires him to always go out of the country for cinvention, seninars ...

Even if you and your brother think it is a "very good job" in the Philippines, it's possible the visa officer doesn't think so, especially since Filipino nurses generally want to find work overseas.

Please answer Bryanna's questions if you want people here to help. You're not giving us enough details to try to help you, nor do you seem to understand why he was denied.

On point. It's difficult to advise without knowing the facts of the case from an IRCC/visa-perspective.

OP:
If you don't mind me saying so, you need to step away from the case.... and reconsider your brother's application objectively, unemotionally, based on facts and documents
